"The hell is wrong with you," sabi sa akin ni Gael. "You're just making everything complicated. I don't know anything about Marius but if you return his mate back at him and chose your own fated mate instead, hindi ka mahihirapan ng ganyan," wabi pa niya bago nagsalin ng vodka sa kanyang kopita.

He has a point. Alam ko iyon. But I just can't return Avery back to him. I love him so much and yet my body wanted Gaynell as well.

"I can't," sagot ko sa kanya. "I can't let go of either of them."

"Then you're screwed," sabi niya sa akin bago ininom ang alak sa kanyang baso.

"Marius is your best friend and you also know that he's looking for his mate, I suggest you give him back what belongs to him bro. See bro? If you think about it, it will be a win-win situation. Marius will be happy reuniting with his mate and you also will be happy with your fated mate," aniya.

"I told you, I can't," sagot ko sa kanya.

Bumuntong-hininga ito.

"What if your sheltered omega knows about Gaynell? Sabi mo nga he wanted you to choose your fated mate over him and that he's willing to let you go. It's been two months that you're with your fated mate and almost a year with Avery. What do you think he will feel when he learns about this?"

Hindi ako nakaimik.

Avery finally let me mark him. I'm also used on his I love yous and he's cares which I worked hard, so bakit ko siya pakakawalan? Christ knew how much I loved him. Why would I give him back to Marius? Cameron also accepted me as his father. There's no way I can do that.

"He will never know," sagot ko sa kanya.

"You only have two choices bro. It's either you return Avery to Marius and your friendship will stay plus you can have your fated mate with you or you choose to keep them both. Alam mong walang sikretong hindi nabubulgar," sabi niya.

Ah damn it.

If I didn't stop by that coffee shop that day, I wouldn't have met Gaynell. I couldn't fight the pull of us being a fated mate especially when he suddenly went to heat and my body reacted to it. I know it was just spur of the moment of us being in the pull that's why I reacted mindlessly bringing him to Myread and had mutiple sex with him. But the sex with your fated mate is a mindblowing experience that my body wantes so bad. And I never expected him to agree to being my bed mate.

Whenever I'm with Gaynell, I have to lie to Avery. And when I have to go home, I need to get rid of Gaynell's scent so that Avery won't smell it.

I don't believe in fate. But damn the pull is stronger and the lust whenever Gaynell and I are together, I can't explain it. It's different when I'm doing it with Avery.

"Bastard just let one of them go. Stop being greedy. Avery's mated to your best friend and you know he's been looking for him for years. Don't you have any conscience?"

"How about you shut up bro? I told you I can't let any of them go. My heart yearned for Avery and my body wanted Gaynell. How am I supposed to choose?" tanong ko sa kanya.

Matapos makipag inuman kay Gael ay dumiretso ako sa main house kung saan naroon si Avery. Nadatnan ko siya na nag-aarange ng mga bulaklak sa vase. Wala na roon si Cameron. Marahil ay tulog na ito.

"Hey darling. Why are you still up?" tanong ko sa kanya.

Saglit niyang inilapag ang gunting sa mesa at saka lumapit sa akin at hinalikan ako sa labi.
