"Lucky bastard," natutuwa kong sabi kay Sebastian noong ipakilala niya sa akin si Gaynell as his fated mate. Mas lalo lang ako nainggit dahil si Sebastian ay ang taong hindi naniniwala sa fated pair na iyan. So it is a big shock for me to see him introducing his fated mate with us, especially me.

This only made me yearn more for Jade or Avery now.

"Thank you, guys. I wasn't expecting to meet my own," natatawang sagot niya pagkatapos lumagok ng alak mula sa kanyang baso.

Well, I'm happy for him. He used to fool around back when we were younger plus mahilig itong makipag-fling sa kahit anong class whether they have fated partner or single regardless the gender. Para kasi sa kanya, may thrill ang makipaglaro sa taong may pananagutan na. He's an ultimate playboy.

"So how's being mates with Sebastian?" tanong ko kay Gaynell.

Ngumiti siya bago tumingin kay Sebastian. Ah, maybe he captured this bastard's heart seeing how happy they are. I understand kung hindi na priority ni Sebastian ang tulungan akong hanapin ang aking fated pair.

"He's great. He always take good care of me," sagot niya sa akin.

After my coronation, dumagsa ang mga marriage proposal para sa akin. Most of them wanted me to be their business partners and in exchange, ipapakasal nila ang kanilang anak. I repeatedly turn them down. I only wanted Avery. He is my fated pair and why would I choose anyone as his replacement?

"How are you, Son? You've been busy lately. Any lead about my grandson?" tanong sa akin ni Mama habang tinatanggal ko ang aking necktie.

"Nah. But don't worry Ma, hindi ako titigil sa paghahanap sa kanila," sagot ko sa kanya.

"Please do son and if you need help, nandito lang kami ng Papa mo," sabi ng Mama.

"Thanks Ma," sagot ko sa kanya.

"Your dad has become an idiot. Imagine he made a big portrait of our grandson and keeps on telling me that he cannot wait to see him. He keeps it in our room next to yours. I hope you'll find them soon," sabi pa niya.

"Don't worry Ma. I asked Sebastian to help me but the bastard found his fated mate so I assume that he'll help me less but still I'll do my best," sabi ko.

Nagulat siya.

"Oh? Really? How come a guy who doesn't believe in fate pairing suddenly decided to have one? Sawa na ba siyang maging playboy?" natatawang tanong niya.

"I guess he wanted to settle down now," sagot ko sa kanya. "He hadn't marked him yet though."

"Figures," sagot niya. "Well anyway son, keep us updated. And if you find any leads, call me immediately," sabi pa niya.

"Sure Ma. Don't worry," nakangiting sagot ko sa kanya. "By the way Ma, how does it feel to be called a dad or something?" tanong ko sa kanya. My colleagues often keep on boasting about their children. Most of them are dads. They always share how good it is to be a dad and the satisfaction they feel when they see their child's happiness just by buying them toys.

"Why not ask your father? He'll give you the answer you want to know," nakangiting sagot niya.

Ngumiti ako. Dad is a doting father. Alam ko iyon.

My son is eight right now. I already bought the new trends of toys and any gaming gadgets. I already renovated my own house for them.

"Dimitri?" tanong ko sa beta na secretary ko.
