Nadatnan kong wala si Sebastian sa bahay pagkatapos naming nagkita ni Sion.

"Where's your Papa?" tanong ko kay Cameron.

"He went out Mommy. He said he suddenly have a business to attend to," sagot sa akin ng aking anak.

Tumingin ako sa aking wrist watch. It's still six in the evening. Kakauwi nya lang sa mula sa business trip niya ngayon ay may importanteng lakad na naman siya. I fished my phone out of my jeans' back pocket and dialled his number. He didn't even bother to call me.

"The number you have dialled is out of coverage," iyon ang sabi ng automated voice mula sa carrier ng network na ginagamit niya.

Pumasok ako sa kwarto at nagpalit ng damit. Since when did Sebastian start to take business trip and related stuff before? As far as I remember, he always asks someone to do it on his behalf and the odd part is he always turns his phone off.

Pagkatapos kong patulugin si Cameron ay nagpasya akong magtungo sa library. I need to cool my head off or to distract myself from thinking. I don't want to suspect Sebastian that he might be cheating on me. I still believe he's true to me. It's like I'm keeping him to myself. If he's fated mate comes along, I'm willing to set him free. "Where have you been?" tanong ko sa kanya matapos niyang pumasok sa main entrance hall ng bahay.

Nagulat siya.

"Darling? Why are you still up? Should you be sleeping by now? It's already late," sabi niya sa akin habang palapit sa kinaroroonan ko at naamoy ko na naman sa kanya ang isang pamilyar na scent.

"I was waiting for you," sagot ko sa kanya. "Does it hurt if you will call to me and tell me your whereabouts?" tanong ko sa kanya bago tinakpan ang aking ilong.

"Sorry," sagot niya. "Do I stink?" tanong niya sa akin hugging me.

"The scent with you. I always smell that after you came home from a two or more days business trip you have. Though it's faint, I definitely can smell it from you. Are you cheating?" tanong ko sa kanya.

Tumawa ito.

"Seriously darling? I can't even smell that scent you're saying even if I'm alpha. and why would I cheat on you? That's nonsense, darling. You are the most beautiful omega that I have never met and the one who took my heart away," nakangiting sabi niya sa akin.

Seryoso kong tumingin sa kanya.

"I have sensitive sense of smell, Seb. I can surpass any alpha when it comes to scent specially a scent coming from an omega. So I hope you're telling me the truth," sagot ko sa kanya bago tumalikod at nagpatiunang naglakad papasok sa aming silid.

Narinig ko ang buntong-hininga niya ng makapasok na rin ito sa aming silid.

"Darling, did I upset you? I'm sorry, okay? I won't attend any out of town businesses. I'll let someone handle it for me. I don't want us to be like this. I'm not used to it," sabi niya sa akin bago naupo sa aking tabi. "I'm content with you and Cameron. Both of you are my family now so I don't have to cheat. I want you to know that you are the one that I love the most."

His words touch my heart. And I believe what he said.

"Fine. Just wash up and get rid of your clothes. I don't like the idea of another omega's scent with you," sagot ko sa kanya.
