"eleven." mike whispered, walking towards the girl slowly.
"mike." she gasped as they embraced each other.
"is that..." max began. diana, lucas, and dustin nodded.
"i never gave up on you." mike told her when they pulled away, "i called you every night. every night for-"
"353 day." el finished, "i heard." she said.
"why didn't you tell me you were there?" mike asked, "that you were okay?"
"because i wouldn't let her." hopper interrupted, mike turned to him as he walked over, "the hell is this? where you been?" he asked the girl.
"where have you been?" she asked back, more harshly.
"you've been hiding her." mike stated, "you've been hiding her this whole time!" he yelled, shoving the chief. hopper grabbed onto his arm.
"hey! let's talk." he snapped, "alone." hopper took mike into joyce's room as el watched. a few seconds later she turned to diana, lucas, and dustin. she ran into diana's arms, and lucas, and dustin joined in on the hug too.
"we missed you." lucas said.
"i missed you, too." el responded, pulling away.
"we talked about you pretty much every day." el turned to him and looked at him. then, she leaned over and touched his teeth causing diana to let out a snort.
"teeth." she pointed out.
"what?"
"you have teeth." dustin and lucas turned to each other, and diana rolled her eyes with a sigh knowing what he was about to do.
"oh. you like these pearls?" he asked, then he purred like at cat just as diana predicted. el flinched in response.
