diana wastrapped in this black box for quite some time before realizing that it wasn't a box. it was the void. where eleven could see other people. she was confused on to why she was stuck there. why did vecna take her here? how did she get out?
she began walking. to where? she didn't know. she thought about maddy, mike, eleven, the byers... jude and louise, but she was still alone.
that was until she spotted a grandfather clock. and at that moment she knew she was going to die soon. unless they could save her. but did she really deserve to be saved?
she stared at the clock, and it stared back at her. then she woke up with a gasp.
diana was back on the wheeler's couch, she sat up, all eyes on her. "oh, hey guys." she said awkwardly.
"jesus, kid. you scared the crap out of us." steve sighed, "are you okay? do you need anything?"
"yeah, i'm fine, but what happened?" she asked, bringing her knees to her chest.
"you passed out." nancy told her, she nodded. "was it him?"
"who?"
"vecna."
she thought about it. it was vecna. she knew it was, but she didn't want them to know that. she couldn't figure out why she didn't want to tell them that, she just didn't. maybe it was the fact that she didn't want to be saved. or maybe she just wanted them keep their focus on max. "no." she said, it came out quicker than she intended which is something she did when she lied.
"you're lying." lydia stated.
"yeah, you talk fast when you lie." ezra added on, earning a nod from lucas.
"i swear on.. my dad." she lied again, this time her sentence coming out at a normal pace.
"but, you hate your dad." said nancy. she shrugged.
