"holy shit... is that..." diana trailed off, talking to no one in particular. she was confused on how eleven was there. did she make her? she didn't know that she could do that if that was even the case. eleven had her powers. she must've gotten them back, but how? the obvious answer was the lab since her hair was shaved. but the lab was shut down a couple years ago. everything was confusing her at this moment. maybe it was from hitting her head. but even if she hadn't hit her head, she still would've been confused. right?
el twisted vecna to face her.
"you." vecna growled. diana couldn't tell if his tone was angry or annoyed. maybe both. she brought herself to her feet but stayed crouched down.
"hi." el whispered before she threw vecna into the wooden bleachers. he grunted as she did so. wood flew everywhere from the hole that he had created from the impact. eleven began making her way towards her, she needed to decide which question to ask first. why was she here? how was she here? how did she find her? if everything in california connected to all of this? what is going on? her heart was beating outside of her chest and eleven was getting closer and closer.

ezra was quick to realize that jason had dropped his gun when lucas attacked. he rushed towards it and grabbed it with his good arm. lucas had just thrown a punch towards jason, when he did this. ezra was hoping he wouldn't have to shoot jason. unlike him, ezra actually cared about if he hurt people or not. he knew that jason was just grieving over his dead girlfriend but ezra was just upset that he had been shot. he tried raising his arm to hold the gun with two arms but it felt numb, he couldn't feel it.
jason smashed a vase over lucas's head, ezra's eyes watered. he was getting dizzier and dizzier. it was now or never. jason stood over lucas as ezra raised the gun and pointed it at him, eyeing him and his every move.

as diana stood up, el quickly came over to her. "diana, are you okay?" the girl questioned. diana patted her down causing confusion to flood through the girl. it wasn't what she meant to do, but it proved that el wasn't some sort of spirit.
