maddy blinked. once, then twice. but she couldn't figure out why she was in so much pain and where the hell she was? where was everyone? did she die? was this the after life?
she sat up, despite the pain in her hip and looked around. she seemed to be at an old junkyard. she was in argyle's van. it smelled like weed which was the give away. maddy slid open the door and stumbled out. she was quick to spot louise, will, mike, argyle, and jonathan covering something up. well, argyle was more freaking out than helping.
that's when she noticed the man wasn't there. she barely knew him, but yet she felt sad. a million thoughts raced through her mind as she struggled to even get out of the van.
argyle was already at the van by the time she had just made it out. he ignored her and she ignored him. it took her about five minutes to actually get there, louise immediately had her sit down on the sand. maddy hated sand.
while louise and jonathan finished covering up the body, mike and will had left to sit on the van and argyle had came back. and he was clearly, high. "hey, does anybody know the dead dude's name?" argyle called out, breaking maddy out of her trance.
"what?"
"the dead dude. i'm making him a headstone." argyle explained, showing the cut out piece of cardboard in the shape of a headstone.
"you do realize we spent all morning hiding the body." jonathan answered, emphasizing the hiding.
"well, i'll just write, uh, here lies unknown hero agent man." argyle told him, "saved argyle, jonathan, louise, maddy, will, and mike from certain death." he added on.
"you... you're gonna write out names on the pizza box?" louise questioned, raising her eyebrows.
"they're pretty common names." argyle defended. maddy shrugged.
