dustin began re-telling his theory to erica. none of them noticed how the front door light began flickering. that's when lydia entered the wheeler home with nancy, robin, eddie, and steve. the once comforting vibe of the home was no longer there. it was dark and creepy. "might be time to get a maid, wheeler." robin commented.
"come on. i don't want to stay here longer than we have to." nancy replied.
she went upstairs with steve, robin and eddie, but lydia heard voices. not just any voices, the voices of diana turner, ezra thomas, dustin henderson, and lucas sinclair. there were also two unfamiliar voices added to the mix. "do you hear that?" she asked steve who had came back down the stairs once realizing lydia wasn't with them.
"hear what?"
maybe she was hearing things. maybe she did have rabies.
"diana, dustin, lucas. they're, like, in the walls or something." she explained, he went to speak up but dustin began speaking so she shushed him. steve's eyebrows raised as she began yelling for them. now, he wouldn't even be able to hear them if she wasn't going crazy.
"lydia... lyds." he said snapping his fingers in front of her face. she turned to him, her eyes widening at how close she was to him. "they're not in the wa..." he trailed off hearing the voice of lucas sinclair, followed by a snarky remark from his sister erica.
dustin began speaking again, lydia was yelling for him while steve tried calming her down but apparently she was stubborn. "dustin! dustin!" she yelled, "can you hear me? dustin?" she yelled again. by then, the rest of them had made their way down the stairs. "hello? hel... hello?"
steve turned to the group, flashing the flashlight in their faces. "maybe she really does have rabies." robin muttered, leaning closer to nancy.
"lydia, what are you doing?" nancy asked her. lydia turned around to face them.
