The Miko That Transcended (Inuyasha/That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime)

Chapter 8

     A few weeks have passed since the others had joined our village. We had an extravagant feast. Inuyasha, Kohaku and Miroku helped with the building. Sango and Kaede were working to help make clothes and study some herbs that would have any medical benefit. Koga, Ginta and Hakaku were helping the security team along with Sesshomaru. Shippo and Rin helped wherever there was help needed. Rigur was in charge of the hunting team. Taegen, Elyon and Sylvar helped wherever it was needed as well. Since I was in charge, I over saw everything.

      Kaijin, Totosai and the three Dwarf brothers, Garm, Dord and Myrd, made clothing and tools and built more homes, while the Goblin Lords under Rigurd worked out a system for ruling the village. Even without any orders, everyone knew their job and was doing it perfectly.

      I was currently sitting down in the main tent, which was considered mine and my families. I brought out Shizue's mask, gently caressing the white mask. It was good to see that it was fixed thanks to the help of Great Sage. I smiled as I placed the mask on the side of my head and then walked around the village. Rigurd came over to give his report of what was going on. Everything seemed to be progressing swimmingly. I decided it was appropriate to celebrate this mile stone.

      "We will hold a feast tonight Rigurd." I smiled. "It's best to celebrate this milestone with everyone."

      "Right!" He shouted before he ran away to begin preparations.

      "I wonder what's on the menu..." I mused as I walked through the village. "There will definitely be meat, which makes me want rice as well." I grumbled. "Do they have rice plants in this world? I guess I'll have to look for some eventually. If I happen to find any, I'll make some rice fields..." I smirked as I found myself at the edge of the village, spotting the hunting party. "Rigur!" I called as I ran over to him.

     "Kagome!" He smiled as he held his arms open to catch me since I lunged at him. He spun me around, holding me to his chest before we kissed each other. When he pulled away, I saw him lost in his own little world, completely unaware that everyone was blushing. "What brings you here?"

      "Well, I wanted to come and thank you all for always getting the food for us." I blushed as I looked away shyly.

      "Well, thank you love." Rigur smiled. I looked around at the party and they nodded in agreement. "We're just on our way out to the forest."

     "Well, we are having a feast tonight, so bring back some tasty prey." I smiled up at him. "We got to celebrate this mile stone for everyone."

      "Really?" Gobta asked as he walked up to me. "I wonder if eat more protein, it make your already luscious boobs bigger." He mumbled his thoughts out loud.

     I felt my anger spike. I did a round house kick to Gobta's face just as Rigur punched him in the face as well.

     "I'm sorry mate. I'll make sure Gobta is properly punished." Rigur growled as he cracked his knuckles.

     "I hope you do." I evilly smirked.

     "In any case, I will prepare some grade A bulldeer for the feast." Rigur smiled at me.

      "Bulldeer?" I tilted my head as I tried to envision what it looked like. All I could think of a cow with antlers upon its head with a fur pattern of a deer. With also the standard bull nose ring. "Great! I'm looking forward to it. Thank you." I smiled.

     "Just leave it to me!" Rigur puffed his chest out in pride. "Many magical beasts have been traveling this way from deep in the forest, lately, so prey is abundant."

      That sent up a red flag for me. "Did something happen?"

     "No, magical beasts move from place to place as the environment changes. I don't think it's anything serious." Rigur told me.
