As I watched them happily run around with excitement from receiving their new names, I suddenly felt uneasy. My vision went foggy and my world felt like it was spinning. My eyes rolled back into my head before I fell onto my back, unconscious.
"Kagome." I heard a faint voice call. "Kagome." It slowly grew louder. "Mate!"
I opened my eyes, finding white surrounding me. I slowly sat up, rubbing my sore head. I looked around, finding nothing but fog and white. Finally my eyes landed upon my mate. I smiled like hell, then leapt towards him. I hugged him, inhaling his sandalwood scent.
"Maru." I cooed, nuzzling him. He gently wrapped his arms around me, inhaling my scent as well. "You're here." I wept.
"Not yet, I'm afraid." He told me.
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
"I'm still weeks away from you. I have been transported far away. I would have been there in a few more days but I'm traveling with Jaken, Rin and Ah-Un. They need breaks."
"They made it here too!" I looked at him. Tears slowly trailing down my face. I was happy to hear that they were here but I was also upset that I dragged them here as well. He slowly nodded his head, cupping my cheek.
"Yes. We are on our way to see you."
"We are located in a little village in the Great Forest of Jura. I kind of became a leader to a village of Goblins and Direwolves." I told him, a blush to my cheeks.
"That's my mate for you." Sesshomaru patted my head, smiling proudly.
"Shippo is resembling you. He is almost as tall as you and now he is showing your mannerisms. It's almost like you never left." I scoffed.
Sesshomaru chuckled at this information. I was glad he found it so amusing. I softly smirked before I nuzzled him, then planted a soft kiss upon his lips. He growled in a possessive tone, wrapping his arms around me. I could feel a bulge form, hitting against my thigh. I softly chuckled and gently pushed away.
"Oh, Maru. Have you recieved any special skills since you got here?" I asked him.
"Yes. Though I'm not sure what they mean. Everyone else recieved some too."
"I figured. I had to teach Shippo about his since I'm familiar with this kind of thing thanks to video games from my time." I rubbed the back of my neck. "That will be the second thing I do when you get here."
"What's the first thing?" He arched a brow.
"Oh, I think you know mate." I cooed in his ear. His eyes flashed red at the invitation. Then I remembered something Great Sage told me when I first entered this world. "Maru, it seems I've been put in a bind."
"How so?" He tilted his head.
"When I entered this world, I was informed that I would have multiple mates." I lowered my eyes, hanging my head in defeat. I could feel tears run down my face. His clawed finger hooked under my chin and made me look up at him. He gently stroked my cheek with his hand and he had the gentlest of eyes.
"I do not mind. As long as I'm your favorite, and you first mate."
"Well you are my first mate." I chuckled. "You will have higher authority than any of them. You'll always be my favorite." I smiled at him.
"Good." He smiled then kissed me upon the lips.

I opened my eyes, looking up at a leaf roof. I knew right away I was back at the village. I wondered what happened.
