My Two Older Annoying Overprotective Brothers

Chapter 15

(Ella and Kaleb to the side or top)

Beep......beep........beep.

I woke up having a strong urge to throw whatever was making that noise into a wall. I tried to open my eyes but it was no use they may as well have been superglued shut.

I started to hear Daniels broken voice "Ella, please wake up. I don't know what to do. In case you want to know both Kaleb and Jacob are on trial but they need your statement first." And it seemed that's all the convincing my mind needed and my eyes flew open.

"Kaleb is what" I asked my throat scratchy and dry. Daniel handed me a glass of water.

"He is on trial" he said again.

"Why" I rushed "he didn't do anything he saved me from Jacob." I said.

"OMG Ella I am sorry, but when I got in there he was holding you and you looked scared and I just jumped to conclusions I am so sorry." He said shaking his head.

"It's ok," I said as I hugged him. Then an officer walked in.

"Hello Ella I am officer Featers, and I am here to take your statement." He said he tally as I took in his appearance, he was about 5"4 with shortly cropped brown hair and hazel eyes.

"Okay" I said and I started the story from when I figured out what happened to my parents.

When I finished the officer looked at me apologetically "I am so sorry but if you don't mind can the police department use that as evidence?"

"Yeah" I said with confidence "as long as it makes sure that my parents death was justified. And thank you." I finished.

"For what" the officer said confused.

"For actually listening, because most think I am too young and naive" I said remembering every interview I had because of my parents death and how they didn't believe a thing I said.

"Anytime sweetheart" the officer said "now let's go get your friend out of jail, he has been asking for you ever since we put him there." He finished shaking his head and laughing under his breath.

The drive was silent and so was the walk to the cells but as we approached all I could hear was yelling. I frantically look through the cells trying to find Kaleb. When the officer opened a door and Kaleb walked out looking tired and frustrated.

He turned and looked at me his face breaking into a huge smile. "Ella you are ok" he said as he wrapped his arms around me in a hug. "I thought that you were in a coma" he said confused.

I was about to ask him what he was talking about when Daniel cut in "she was but she woke up this morning"

"How long was I out?" I asked curiously.

"A week" Daniel said as he ran a hand through his hair.

Hello readers. Okay sorry it's short but I have been begged to put up an update so here it is. I should have a longer one on Sunday because I have nothing to do this weekend along with more frequent ones next week because I finally have nothing to do.

So Ella was out for a week what did she miss. Who will she choose? Now obviously Jacob is out of the rad but who is team Caden and who is team Jacob?
