Chapter 16

(Daniel to the side or top)

"A week" I repeated shocked. "Wow only a month till my birthday" I squealed randomly and of course it was just as the room went silent and I got huge stares from everyone. "What a girls gotta get excited" I said before turning around and power walking out of the room blushing like a tomato.

I patiently waited outside the new creme finished police station for Daniel and Kaleb. I watched as they walked out laughing five minutes later.

Kaleb rushed over to me "oh my gosh Ella that was adorable and H.O.T hot" he said as he wrapped his hands around my waist and set his head on my shoulder.

"Nope" Daniel said setting his hands between us "two feet of space between Ella and guys, sorry" he said although I am not sure if he is apologizing to me or Kaleb? Huh? I thought before walking past him into Kalebs arms again.

As Daniel got in the car he mumbled something like 'teens these days never listen'. "I missed you" Kaleb whispered huskily in my ear and I shivered in delight.

"I wish I could say the same" I teased and his face dropped "but it felt like a couple seconds that I was out" I finished and watched a smile light his face again as we sat in the backseat together.

When we got home I saw Everett and Trinity bouncing up and down on the porch. I got out of the car and half way to the door I was hit with my best friend and brother hugging the life out of me.

"OMG" Trinity screeched "I thought Jacob was a good guy, I can't believe he could do that to you an-" I cut off her rambling by setting my hand over her mouth. She just kept talking for a while and then she finally stopped.

"You done?" I asked and she nodded her head. "Ok" I said and removed my hand from her mouth.

"I missed you" she said engulfing me in another hug.

"We all did" I heard Evs raspy voice and then we had one big group hug again. By the time we pulled apart everyone was out of tears and we made our way into the house.

"What do you want Ella?" Everett asked heading to the kitchen.

"Nope" I rushed into the kitchen "you are not cooking after last time."

"It wasn't that bad" he stated waving his hand dismissively as everyone else joined us.

"Wasn't that bad my a*s" Daniel said "you burnt the fridge." He stated having the same shocked expression he had when he found out.

"I was making a very hard dish" he stated in his defence.

"You were making cheese and crackers." I stated and we all burst out laughing as Everett's face went red.

"It's not my fault the knife fell hit the cord and poof fire" he said like a five year old that got caught stealing cookies.

"Wow Everett" Trinity said kissing his cheek "you are never allowed in my glorious kitchen".

"But babe" he whined.

"Nope" she said in a tone that left no room to argue and crossed her arms.

"Fine you'll just have to cook for me all the time" he said smugly.

"Or I just find a new boyfriend" she retaliated.

"No babe I am sorry I didn't mean it" he whimpered. I looked around the room and we all felt like we were intruding so we went into the living room.

Kaleb sat in the love seat and I joined him but half way down I hear "nope different couch" Daniel said.

I let out a laugh as I hit the couch "too late neither of us are getting up" I said as I snuggled into Kaleb.

Daniel grunted giving up before putting on baseball and before I knew it I was out like a light snuggled closely to Kaleb.

Hello readers. Sorry about the heart attack last chapter but I made a mistake when I said Kaleb was going to jail but I decided to go with it so here you go. OMG that was exhausting sorry it's late but I have been busy since 9 am and finally had time to write the last part. Here is the update.

I should have a free night tomorrow night so I will try my hardest to update even if it is kinda short. Hope you like it.
