The icy water surrounded Bucky quickly.

Short releases of air were being pushed from his lungs as he looked around the murky water, panic flooding every nerve in his body. His eyesight was limited, the murky water difficult to navigate through, light barely breaking through the surface. How long had he been down here? Bucky spun slowly, seeing a trail of bubbles, hope flooded his chest as he pushed the water behind him, launching himself in the direction of the the trail. He so desperately wanted to go up to the surface, to kill Emmett for forcing his wife into this situation, where she knew the risk of falling off that harbor. Bucky remembered how Addison told him she knew he would help her, no matter what, he would always find a way to get her back safe. Bucky felt the ache form in his chest, what he would do now for her to be laying in his bed, safe as he returned home from a long day of work.

His thoughts were interrupted by the gleam of her ring, the sun had broken through the murky water shining off the diamond and leading him straight towards her. He felt the relief wash over him as he approached her, wrapping his arms around her floating body, pulling her leg free from seaweed that had wrapped around it. I have you now sweet girl, Bucky's mind spoke, blowing out some air from his lungs as he wrapped his arm around her body, pushing off the rocks at the bottom of the harbor, shooting through the water quickly. His chest was aching with the need for air, the pressure nearly bone crushing as he broke through the surface, a loud gasp filling the suddenly silent air. With his free hand he wiped the water from his eyes, cradling Addison's body with his other, wiping her hair away from her face, her skin was cool, hair floating around her body. "Sam!" Bucky screamed, swimming closer to the edge of the dock, looking up. Footsteps were rushed down the wood, Sam leaning over to lift her out of the water with the help from Steve. "Becca, in the back of the car, my bag." Sam rushed out, tossing the keys in her direction, everyone scrambling to get Addison pulled out of the water.

Sam wrapped his fingers around her wrist, Steve holding onto her other one while Keegan stabilized her head, lifting her carefully onto the dock. Her head was cradled in Steve's lap while Bucky quickly climbed out of the water, the cool air freezing his clothes against his body. "Where the fuck is he?" Bucky's words were venomous, hurling like daggers towards his siblings. "Over there," Steve nodded, his hands on either side of Addison's head to keep it from rolling while Sam pressed two fingers to her pulse point on her neck, sighing a breath of relief, "he asked us to not do anything until he knew she was alive. Plus we figured you'd want to handle him." Steve concluded, looking up as Rebecca ran back down the dock, shoes long forgotten as she kneeled next to her fiancé. "She has a pulse, but she's taken in a lot of water, it seems like her body just put itself into shock," Sam stated, watching Bucky's eyes soften as he turned back to where Addison was laying in his brothers lap, "Buck, pinch her nose, create a seal and blow air in her mouth for ten seconds." Sam stated, folding his hands over her chest. "What? Why?" Bucky asked, positioning himself so he could do what Sam said. "We're gonna get her to wake up."

They started working in unison, Bucky blowing air into her mouth for ten seconds, Sam doing fifteen chest compressions, the cycle went on for three excruciating moments.

Addison felt her senses coming back to her, the disgusting feeling of having too much water in her stomach coming to the forefront of her mind. She recognized that she was out of the water as she rolled to the right, her stomach heaving as water poured out of her mouth, a gasp leaving her lips as the cold air replaced the water that was once there, her head dropping back onto muscular thighs as she worked on opening her eyes. C'mon, her mind whispered to her, don't let them win, you can do this, just open your eyes, her brain commanded, the blaring light from the sun behind the clouds greeting her while a pain groan left her lips. She blinked a few times, seeing Bucky beside her, a small smile on her lips. "Hi." She whispered, leaning up to wrap her arms around his neck, allowing him to pull her into his lap. "Why sweet girl?" He whispered, his lips moving against her cold shoulder, pressing a warm kiss to the skin. "I knew you'd get me." She replied, relishing the warm touch, his hands roaming over her body, as if he could't believe that she was back, safe, and in his arms. "I have to go deal with him." Bucky whispered, pulling back to smooth down her wet hair. "Then let's go." Addison smiled, standing up on wobbly legs, linking her fingers with Bucky's once again.
