"The spreadsheets show we're making a profit, but security is telling me that employee's are pocketing checks, I'm missing four tenants checks, I'm not sure how to go about this baby sis, I've never been a landlord."

Addison looked over the top of the papers she was reading at her brother, hundreds of spreadsheets had been thrown across the living room of Warner's apartment. Bucky, Steve, Sam and George had left the city to go to Chicago to seal a business deal with a new family that was looking into moving to New York. "You're doing great Warner," Addison's eyes fluttered shut, her palm spreading across her stomach as she tried to relax, "have security do background checks on the employees again, if there is any discrepancies, send Martin in to question them, never get your own hands dirty."

Warner noticed the exhaustion resting on his little sister's face, every time he had seen her in the past week Bucky had been gone, she looked like all of her energy was zapped out of her, she would come over to his house and just nap on his couch while he did some work. He knew she was under a lot of stress from having to run the capos with Bucky being gone, on top of that, everything she did had to be triple checked to make sure there wasn't an assassination attempt on her, her food had to be checked to make sure there was no poison. He knew it was taking a toll on her, but every time he asked, she just told him that she was fine, missed Bucky, but fine. "Addison," Warner's voice was soft as he slid off his stool crossing the room to sit on the arm of his couch above her head, "don't lie to me, are you okay?"

"I'm just tired Warner," she sighed, rubbing her hands down her cheeks, blue eyes meeting her brothers concerned ones, "I don't sleep well without Bucky."

"Baby sis," Warner sighed, moving to sitting on the couch behind her when she lifted her head, "are you lying to me?"

"I just didn't know how much I'd have to take on, and with Rebecca expecting it's like another bomb waiting to drop, not only am I constantly getting updates from her enforcers, she's calling all hours of the night crying over everything, I love her, I do, and I know she can't help it, but I'm just tired." Addison mumbled out, Rebecca had told Bucky and her three weeks ago that she was fifteen weeks pregnant, and suddenly their entire world shifted. Rebecca wasn't ever a concern, but with a Barnes baby on the way, a target was plastered on the back of Rebecca's head. And Addison had begged Rebecca to stay with her, the enforcers Addison had on her at all times we're men Bucky hand picked, two ex-navy seals that had neutralized a plethora of threats in the week that the men had been gone, but Rebecca refused, stating that she wouldn't be scared out of her home.

"You keep touching your stomach," Warner pointed out, placing his hand over hers, "are you?"

"No," Addison cut in immediately, "I took a test three days ago just to make sure, it was negative, but Rebecca's made me think about the risks that come with me ever becoming pregnant. I know what I signed up for, but I'm scared."

Warner hummed, pulling his hand up to run through his sisters hair. A year ago he would've laughed at the idea of the Williams kids being close, but now Addison just showed up to his apartment whenever she felt like it. Some days she would be sitting on his couch when he got out of meetings, others she was come over at three pm just to have dinner and watch a movie with him. "Don't be scared," Warner concluded, reaching for his phone when it buzzed, "Bucky will always protect you."

Addison sat up with a sigh when the two enforcers arrived in the doorway, Nicolas and Hayden nodding at her. "I have to go deal with a new tenant," Warner spoke as he rose to his feet, grabbing his suit coat, "I love you, I'll call you tonight. Lock up when you leave."
