Loki and Hope found common ground. She still didn't completely trust him, but she gave him a chance. The lunch ended sometime after 5:50. About 95% of that time was spent congratulating Scott and Hope and welcoming Nat and Loki back. Well, not Loki as much. Cassie stayed with her dad until Maggie picked her up at around 9:00. Finally, after everything was cleaned up, the newly engaged couple went to bed. "I feel like we were just hit with a hurricane. I thought our announcement would be the craziest thing to happen." Hope remarked. "Instead, we welcomed back two thought to be dead friends. Well, Nat's our friend. Loki is Cassie's friend. I can't get my head around the fact that my daughter met and befriended the God of Mischief and never told me about it! And I can't believe you didn't tell me you met him and fought him in New York!" Scott exclaimed. "You don't know a lot about me, Lang." She teased. "Then you better start talking, Van Dyne." He smiled. "But for now, I'll settle for a small kiss." He added. "That's a deal I'm willing to agree to." She smirked.
