Asher's pov:
When River and Lucas left the room so Dove and I would go downstairs, I grabbed Dove's wrist and dragged her to the bathroom because I had a fun plan.
"Curly, what the fuck are you doing we need to go downstairs to eat with River and Lucas."
"Or we could get ready for the day and escape using this back door so we could go out for breakfast." I told her hoping she would agree.
"Okay but what if they come up to find us."
"Let's leave them a note telling them we left."
"Alright" Dove sighed and we wrote the note, we left it on the bed

Once we got out we decided to go somewhere like Mcdonalds, Dove didnt wanna go to a fancy restaurant. We went in and I got an oreo mcflurry and an egg bacon breakfast sandwich and Dove got the same thing but instead of a mcflurry she got orange juice, lame.
"Soooo Dove you glad you came along" I smirked but that smirk wiped off my face when I saw someone walk through the door.
"What's wrong?" Dove asked she was worried
"O-Oh nothing." I stuttered, "Can we go?" I asked
"Sure." Dove got up and we left
Once we got in the car, Dove was driving, she started asking me what happened and she knew it wasn't nothing. I liked that she cared so much about me but I couldn't tell her that I saw somebody walk in.
"Dove."
"Yes."
"Why do you care so much?"
"Because I care about you." My heart melted when she said that
"And I'm happy you do, but this isn't something you can help with." I mean she could but I just didn't want her getting involved
"Tell me what it is and I'll leave you alone, until then don't expect me to stop asking." Dove sased me
We finally arrived home and we couldn't see Lucas or River anywhere. We decided to go to the bathroom because maybe she was doing her makeup. Nope, but as we went upstairs we heard arguing.
"No, you open the door."
"No you."
"WHY WOULD I OPEN THE DOOR."
"Uhhh because I dont want to."
It was Lucas and River in front of the bedroom door arguing on who should open the door to wake us up.
"Hi guys," Dove said
"You scared me." River said, lightly shoving Dove's arm.
"What were you guys arguing about?" I asked
"Oh uhhh," Lucas said "we were arguing on who should open the door to come get you guy- wait where were you guys?"
"Mcdonalds." Dove smiled
"Yeah we sunckout to the back and left you a note on the bed so you wouldn't be worried." I added
"Oh okay, DID YOU AT LEAST BRING US SOMETHING" River yelled, I couldn't tell if she was joking or not and by the look on Dove' face she couldn't tell either.
"We were but we rushed out and kinda forgot." Dove said
"Why were you rushing?" Lucas asked
Dove stared at me "Go on, tell them why."
"I can't"
"I've been trying to get it outta him ever since the car ride, he won't budge" Dove said
"You know you can trust us right" River said
"Okay fine I won't tell you all of it but I will tell you one thing" I said "I saw somebody."
"Brody"
"Brody"
"Brody"
"What the fuck is he doing here." Lucas said
"I don't get what the problem is? What was wrong with Brody other than the fact that he's curly's ex." I forgot Dove knew nothing about the situation, neither did River.
"Lucas, can you tell them please." I started tearing up and hugging Dove
I started falling asleep in Dove's arms without noticing as Lucas was explaining everything.

I woke up in my bed and realized it was a Monday, so I got ready and went to school and surprisingly I wasn't late. As soon as I made it on to campus I tried looking for Lucas but instead bumped into Ivy.
"Hey dude, how are you?" Ivy said, there was something about Ivy that was so welcoming
"I'm good, I don't mean to be rude but have you seen Lucas I really need to talk to him."
"Oh it's fine, he's in the principal's office."
"Principal's office got it- wait princip- what did he do this time?" I asked
"I have no clue."
As I went to the principal's office to find Lucas I bumped into somebody.
"I am so sorry I'm in a rush to find my friend." I said as I looked up, oh no.
"No need to be sorry." he smirked
"Brody what the fuck are you doing here"
"Well I'm here visiting a friend"
"We broke up. I want nothing to do with you, now if you excuse me I need to find my friend before the second period starts." I was so shocked I said that to BRODY
"No you will do as I say." he thinks he owns me the fuck
"Uh no I wont, get the fuck out of my way."
"Someone learned to stand up for themself."
"Shut up and leave."
"Alright but dont think this is the last of me you will see" He smirked giving me a kiss on the cheek
