Asher's pov:

Dove and I spent about 30 more minutes at the ice cream shop till I invited her and the girls to my house. I didn't think anyone would be home so we would be able to watch tv, maybe even play a video game.

Once we got to my house I went to check if Avery was home. I couldn't find the video games so I assumed she would know where they are. When I knocked on her door there was no reply, I called her name, once again no reply so I just walked in and oh boy do I wish I didn't.

Lucas's pov:

Today was a pretty boring day. I just did the usual, wake up, get dressed, go to school. I didn't really do much other than talk to Asher about his date and how he would plan it. When I arrived home I had a ton of homework. As much as I tried to focus I couldn't so I decided to walk to Ashers place.

I didn't text or call before going so I had no idea if he was even home but oh well. I got there and knocked and no one answered so I just picked the lock and went in. I was there for about 30 minutes and decided to get up and get a snack from the fridge. I had found some raspberries so I started to eat them with some whipped cream and a cookie when Avery walked in.

"Oh hi Avery." I said as I saw her walking by me

"Lucas?!?! What are you doing here!" She seemed so startled, it was hilarious

"Uh, eating a cookie with raspberries and whipped cream, what the hell does it look like?"

"No like why are you in my house?" she asked

"Well to be fair I came to see Asher but he's not home."

"Did you even text him first?" She asked

"Nope." I said with a grin on my face

"Call?"

"Nope."

"Wow, did you need anything from Asher though?"

"Yeah, I just needed help focusing on my homework." I told her

"Oh I could help you if you want."

Avery took me up to her room so she could help me study. She would help me but most of the time she would be on her phone. It got pretty annoying after a couple minutes and I couldn't even get her attention. So I decided to steal her phone so she would pay attention to me and help me like she was supposed to do in the first place.

"Hey gimme that back!" She whined

"No."

"Why not, aren't you supposed to be doing your homework?"

"Aren't you supposed to be helping me with it?" I sassed

"I was!"

"No you weren't."

"Just give me back my phone."

"I will on one condition." I told her

"And that is? Wait you know what I don't care just give me back my pho-" she was interrupted as my lips were crashing into hers. It was supposed to be a short peck on the lips but it ended up being a longer kiss.

"What. The. Hell." I heard someone with a stern voice say

I walked away from Avery "Asher, I can explain."

"Oh no trust me I don't need one. I could tell you liked her and she liked you and I was fine with it, but I don't necessarily wanna walk in on it." Asher said way calmer than I imagined.

"Oh, I thought you would be mad." I told him

"No I wouldn't as long as you don't play with her heart." He said seriously

"Yeah, I won't but I really didn't want you to see this. I was going to tell you we kissed anyway."

"It's fine, but why were you here anyway?" he asked

"Oh I came to see you, I wanted you to help me with my homework." I explained to him

"Ohhhh okay, well-" he got cut off by Dove

"Curly, did you find her? Oh hey Lucas." Dove said

"What is Dove doing here?" Avery asked

"Oh yeah she came to pick me up from school with Nova and Tate, they're here too, anyway I came to ask if Avery knew where the video games were." Asher said

"Oh here." Avery said passing the games to Asher

"Thanks." He said and left
