Asher's pov:
I need to tell Dove to meet me at the park a day before our anniversary since it's an overnight thing. This time she can't know it's an overnight thing because she'll know what I'm doing. I went over to her house and told her parents that for our anniversary I was going to recreate our first date. They were okay with it.
I won't tell Dove to go to the park, I'll have River bring her. Since the date is tomorrow night I'll set it up tomorrow afternoon. This is going to be so good.
I need to make phone calls though. First Lucas, then River and then talk to Avery.
*ring ring*
"Hey,"
"Hi, okay so Lucas I need you to meet at my house tomorrow at 12 pm to go to the park and put up the tents, River and Avery are coming too."
"Okay I'll be there."
"Thanks"
Now River
"Hello"
"Hey, meet at my house at 12 pm to go to the park and set up the date tomorrow, Lucas and Avery are coming too."
"Alright I will,"
"Thanks"
I go to Avery's room and unfortunately walk in on her and her boyfriend making out.
"AH" I say looking away
"WHY DID YOU JUST BARGE INTO MY ROOM LIKE THAT,"
"HOW THE FUCK IS YOU NOT LOCKING YOUR DOOR MY FAULT."
"Whatever, what's up?"
"Tomorrow at 12 can you come to the park with Lucas, River and I to set up for the date?"
"Yeah, sure. Can you get out now?"
"Wow, okay bye."
As I left her room I realized that I had just taken away all of the people Dove hangs out with. IVY SHE CAN HELP.
*ring ring*
"Hi"
"Hey, Ivy, can you go to the mall with Dove tomorrow at 11:30 am until like 5-6 pm? I'm setting up our anniversary date with Lucas, Avery and River."
"YAY I'M FINALLY INVOLVED IN SOMETHING, YES ABSOLUTELY. I'll take her to the mall that's an hour away so it wastes more time."
"Thank you so so much"
Dove's pov:
I'm so excited to give Asher my anniversary gift. Basically on our first date I wandered off and looked for flowers. I found 3 roses and a few daisies and I kept them with me but hid them from Asher. When I went home I took the flowers out and put them in between pages of my journal. They dried but didn't fall apart.
A few days ago I found a shop where you can make a personalized silicone resin flower canvas. A silicone resin flower canvas is made by putting a clear layer of silicone in a big mold like the size of a text bood, let it dry and then put the flowers and pour another layer of clear silicone. Anyway I gave the shop the flowers I picked on our first date and they made the canvas. I can't wait to give it to him.
Asher's pov:
I woke up like 70 times last night. I couldn't sleep to save my life. I'm just so excited. It's okay. It's 9 am and I can go to the park in three hours.
I go down stairs and make myself eggs and bacon. I finished eating and cleaned my mess in the kitchen. I then had a random feeling of productivity and felt like cleaning my room and bathroom so I did.
Dove's pov:
I was laying on my bed watching Netflix on my laptop and I got a text from Ivy.
*1 new message*
ivy: hi
me: hi
ivy: you wanna come help me look for an outfit?
me: for what?
ivy: i have a date tonight
me: WAIT REALLY? WHO?
ivy: his name is jordan and it's no big deal but i really need an outfit
me: pick me up
ivy: okay but we're going to the mall that's an hour away, it has better clothes
me: okay okay
I got up and did my make up and got dressed. I wore a light purple tight top with white baggy jeans and white converse.
About 10 minutes later I got a text from Ivythat she's here.
Asher's pov:
I waited for Lucas and River to come over so we could go to the park. They finally came at 12:15.
"Hey, we're here!" They say
"Okay good," I say "AVERYYY THEY'RE HERE"
"COMING" I hear her say
"Who's driving?" River asks
"Avery, she has a car." I say
I put all of the camp stuff in the car and waited for Avery to come downstairs. When she came down we all got in the car and went on our way to the park.
Dove's pov:
We went to the mall and started looking for a cute outfit for Ivy's date.
"How's this?" She said holding up a yellow dress that went down to her thigh
"Sorry babe yellow isn't your color or your friend." I say "Where is the date going to be?"
"At the movies,"
"Okay I know what you should wear." I say "You could wear these black boyfriend jeans with this beige oversized t-shirt and a brown flannel."
"Wait, why is that perfect."
Dove just smirked.
We went to check out and then we both got hungry so we went to panda express.
Asher's pov:
It's done. We set everything up. I can't wait. Ivy should be bringing Dove home by now so River can bring her here. WAIT WE HAVEN'T EVEN THOUGHT OF WHAT RIVERS EXCUSE IS TO TAKE DOVE OUT. FUCK. I CALL RIVER IMMEDIATELY.
"What?" she said
"WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO SAY YOU NEED HER FOR WHEN BRINGING HER HERE? HOW ARE YOU GOING TO BRING HER HERE, YOU CAN'T DRIVE."
"Oh, Avery is driving and I'll just tell her to get into the car, I'll blind fold her and bring her to the campsite then remove the blind fold."
"So you're gonna kidnap her?"
"Pretty much."
"Okay cool, bye"
"Bye"
Just as that call ends I get a call from Ivy.
"Hey Jordan,"
"Huh,"
"I can't make the date tonight, I went to the mall with my friend Dove and I'm taking her home right now, can we change the date to tomorrow?" She says
"OHHH OKAY, How long until you get her home?"
"About 10 minutes,"
"Okay, bye"
"Bye."
