Chapter 23

Asher's pov:

I didn't know you couldn't camp out at the park okay. I felt like the cops kicking us out of the park ruined the date a little but I changed my mind, sneaking into my house with Dove was fun. I still have the image of Dove running down the street in the rain. She seems like such a playful person. I literally loved last night. It was so fun and the kiss ohh the kiss was so perfect.

I woke up at 10 am and Dove was still asleep. I didn't know if I should wake her up or not. I decided to wake her up after 20 minutes because I washed and dried her clothes. I get bored okay.

"Dove, wake up." I whispered, she actually woke and her eyes fluttered open

"Hi Asher, what time is it?" she said with a smile

"Uh it's 10:30, why?"

"Because if it wasn't a reasonable time to wake up on a weekend I would kill you." she said with a smile

"Okayyy," I said "wanna go get breakfast?"

"Yeah, what should we eat?"

"Mcdonalds sound good?" I asked

"I mean considering it's one of my favorite places to eat I'd say yeah."

We went to McDonalds and ate, then I had a surprise. I planned for Dove since our camp thing got crashed by cops. I blind folded her and took her on a 1 hour drive. Once we made it I took off the blindfold.

Dove's pov:

After we ate Asher blindfolded me and we drove for what felt forever. Once we made it he helped me get out of the car and it was a little windy. He took off my blind fold and we were at the top of a mountain. It was a beautiful view of the city.

"This is where I go when I get mad or sad or anything really to calm down." Asher says

"It's beautiful up here." I said

"Yeah, it really is."

We stayed up there for about a half hour until it was 1:30 and he took me home.

I got home and River, Sage, Nova and Tate were sitting on the couch.

"Heyyy!" River said

"Sooooo how was the date?" Sage asked

"It was amazing." I replied hoping they would leave me alone

"So does this mean you and Asher are dating?" Nova asks

"No, not yet." I said as I went to my room. River followed me to my room.

"Tell me everything." she demanded

"Okay well first off I now know where you were going the other day."

"You're welcome."

"Thank you, anyway when we were camping the cops came and kicked us out..." I told her everything that happened.

Asher's pov:

When I dropped Dove off at her place I drove home and when I went home my mom was at the door.

"Hi mom!" I said as I gave her a hug

"Hi darling, would you like to tell me why I heard you sneaking into the house at 5 am?" She asked

"Oh uhh, Dove and I got kicked out of the park by cops so we had to come here."

"Alright sweetie I hope your date went well."

"It did."

I went up to my room and called Lucas. I told him about the date and I told him how I felt. With Dove it's like she and I were meant for eachother, no one else has made me feel the way I do when I'm with her. I don't want to get too attached because she could possibly leave me. I was thinking of asking her on a second date and after the third I could ask her to be my girlfriend. I know it's soon to want her as my girlfriend but something is different about her.

Once I ended the call with Lucas I went downstairs and got a snack. I watched tv for a little until it was 5 and decided to clean my room. I finished cleaning my room around 6:30 and might I say I have a messy ass bedroom. I played mario kart with Avery for an hour until dinner was ready. Avery had been progressively getting better at the game and I blame Lucas. Ever since she's been talking to him she's been better at the game. I used to beat her so easily but now thanks to Lucas I actually have to try and win.

I ate dinner and went to my room. It felt so good walking into a clean room. I took off my shirt and turned on my fan because it was really hot for some reason. After scrolling through instagram for an hour I finally fell asleep.
