Chapter 15

Asher's pov:

Today has been a crazy day at school. I ran into Brody and I still haven't found Lucas. I had to tell Lucas that I just saw Brody. I was rushing to my third period when I finally found Lucas.

"Lucas," I waved

"Hey, Ivy told me you've been looking for me."

"Yeah, I have, I need to tell you something at lunch." I didn't want anyone else to hear

"dude just tell me now."

"I can't, it's risky, no one can hear me."

"It's about Brody isn't it." No shit Lucas, no fucking shit

"Yeah you're on the right track, so lunch."

After that I got a text from my mom.

'Sweety don't walk home i'll pick you up' Huh weird she never picked me up

'Alright'

I had a pretty boring day. I was just waiting for lunch so I could talk to Lucas. Why would Brody be here though, I still had no clue. I'm going to find out what the hell he wants so he could leave me alone. I just hope he doesn't bring my friends and family into whatever this thing going on between us is.

I spent the day looking at the clock watching the clock tic minute by minute. I zoned out until the teacher called on me, I didn't even know what class I was in.

"Asher, would you like to do the next problem?" The teacher said, problem? OH SHIT I'M IN MATH

"Uhh sure." I had no clue what to do

I got up to do the math problem and I started to panic. Sweat dripped from my red forehead. Lucky for me Lucas walked it just at the right time, I have no clue how he knew but he did, and said he needed to excuse me from class. I didn't know why but I was happy. When I left the room he asked me why I was freaking out and helped me calm down. And he also told me why he excused me from class.

"HUH?!" I yelled almost not believing what he had just told me

"Yeah I know right." Lucas agreed

"WHY THE FUCK DID BRODY TALK TO YOU ABOUT DOVE AND I, MORE IMPORTANTLY WHY DID HE TALK TO DOVE, WHAT DID THAT FUCKER TELL DOVE."

"Bro calm down." Lucas said giving me some water

"Okay okay, can I tell you what I was going to say at lunch right now?" I asked

"No, at lunch."

"Okay bye."

"Cya."

I went to class and apologized to the teacher for interrupting her lesson and she continued with class. She gave me detention for tomorrow but that's fine.

Lunch had finally come around and I couldn't wait to find Lucas. As I was walking down the hall I saw Brody smirk at me through the window and that sent shivers down my spine. I ignored him and continued to walk down the hall and finally found Lucas. I dragged Lucas by his ear into the bathroom, I was stressed okay.

"Ow ow ow ow, THATS MY FUCKING EAR IF YOU HAVENT NOTICED!" Lucas screamed

"Oh I know sorry, anyway I was saying I saw Brody again."

"Did that dick do anything to you?"

"Nothing- eh- well I asked him what the fuck he was doing here and he said he was here to visit a friend, I told him we broke up n' shit then he kissed my cheek and said that wouldnt be the last of him I saw."

"Okay so what I'm hearing is I am now your bodyguard?" Lucas said with no hesitation

"No, I think I could stand up for myself."

"He abused you both physically and mentally what the fuck are you talking about." He said, he seemed mad

"Fine but be careful, and if I chose to stand up for myself you let me, okay?"

"Fine."

Dove's pov:

I was so annoyed the whole day because my mom and dad went on a date day and left me to take care of the twins. Don't get me wrong I love Nova and Tate but I hate taking care of them. Not to mention River and Sage were supposed to help me take care and entertain the 8 year old bundles of energy but they went to the mall. Also who the hell goes on a date on a fucking Monday like seriously. WAIT I JUST REALIZED THAT I'M PICKING ASHER UP TODAY, THE GIRLS CAN'T BE WITH ME. Just like that I called my mom.

"Mom,"

"Yes honey." My mom answered with a soft tone

"You know how I have to be with the girls today."

"Yeah, and you're not alone, Sage and River are there aren't they?"

"Nope they went to the mall, but it's fine anyway today I was supposed to go pick up Asher from school and take him for lunch but as a surprise." I didn't mean to be a sinch but they did leave

"Oh okay honey sounds fun, does Anne know?"

"Yeah she texted him and told him to not walk home and she would pick him up, my point is I cant have the girls with me."

"What? Sure you can, Dove you are their older sister you know."

"Fine but they better not be annoying the whole time."

"Okayy I love you bye."

"I love you too mom."
