Finally Found You (ON-HOLD)

PROLOGUE

My forehead caressed as I wander my eyes around the place. I couldn't see anyone in here but I can feel that I am not alone. I can feel that someone is eyeing and watching me.

What place is this? And why the hell am I here? This place is so unfamiliar. Makapal na damuhan sa buong paligid, idagdag mo pa ang matataas na mga punong kahoy sa aking kinaroroonan. 

"Hoy, bata!"

Napalingon ako sa aking kaliwang banda nang marinig ang boses na iyon mula rito. My lips parted as I saw two children in there.

Ang batang babae'y nakatayo sa 'di kalayuan sa mga karton na pinagtataguan ng isang batang lalaki.

What? Karton? I haven't seen that earlier!

The boy suddenly went to the girl and forced her to hide with him behind the carton but the girl tried to show up herself.

I don't know exactly what to feel seeing the boy's face with fear and tension but I just found myself smiling while looking at them. I thought I was alone, I was wrong.

"Aren't you gonna eat?"

Mabilis pa sa alas kuwatro akong napalingon sa pinanggalingan ng boses na iyon, sa kanan ko banda. I opened my mouth to say something but I couldn't utter anything.

I saw the same boy and girl in a burger place. The boy offered a burger to the girl but the girl seems shocked by his offer.

"Saiyo nalang," the girl said as she shook her head.

But what intrigued me is that they have other 5 children with them unlike earlier I saw.

"Salamat pre, ah!"

"Pasensiya na pala, natakot ka namin kanina. Gutom na gutom kasi kami kaya gano'n ang mga mukha namin, parang mangangain ng tao,"

Pagpapasalamat ng limang bata sa lalaking nagtatago kanina sa likod ng mga kartom. Anim ang batang lalaki samantalang isa lamang ang batang babae pero sa tingin ko nama'y kilala ang limang batang lalaki ng babae.

"Hintayin n'yo ako doon sa park bukas, mga ganitong oras." Napatingin ang batang lalaking nagtatago sa mga karton kanina sa wrist watch niya. "Alas 4 ng hapon, dadalhan ko kayo ng pagkain doon tuwing hapon," He added.

"Hey!"

Kaagad akong napatingin sa likuran ko nang may biglang nagsalita roon. I don't how what to feel and say but my heart seems happy seeing this two children. Sila na naman, ang kaninang nagtatago sa mga karton at kumain ng burger.

The boy approached the girl who's thinking deeply while sitting on the bench in the park.

"T-ngina!" The girl shouted in surprise.

Nagulat ang lalaki sa pagsigaw ng batang babae dahilan para mapaatras ito at itinaas niya pa ang kan'yang dalawang kamay.

"C-Chill! Sorry, okay? You don't have to cuss!" The boy panicked. "Anyway, why are you here, Stella?" He added as he sat down beside her.

"Papahangin," the girl plainly answered. "Ano palang pangalan mo?"

I laughed a bit seeing how shock the boy's face after hearing what the girl said.

"Hi, Stella! You can call me, Deter!" He managed to answer with a joyful tone. The girl laughed a bit while reaching the hand of the boy he suddenly offered like it was their first time meeting each other.

"They usually call me, Ella,"

"Stella. . . Ella. Beautiful name. Your name doesn't suit your personality, you should stop cussing. It's bad," the girl brows arched because of what he said.
