"You're being sent away?" Delilah asked looking at Gavin, "Again?"
"Yeah," Gavin said,
"So am I." Peter added, "And Dom and Mike."
Lucy was pleased but she was also nerve-racking at the same time, she knew how passionate all of them were about flying and how much being on the battlefield meant to Peter, but she was worried because she was close with Mike and Peter. And she was nervous for Delilah because she already lost Gavin once, and she didn't want her to have to deal with it again knowing how much pain that caused her. Lucy looked over at Delilah knowing that she was close to crying and she tried to remind Delilah to stay strong for the both of them but Delilah had a good heart, and Lucy knew that, so it was going to be difficult for Delilah.
"When do you leave?" Lucy asked
"A few days," Mike replied, "We got the notice about an hour ago."
None of them knew what was going to happen, to any of them, but all of them were hoping they would at least return alive. But nobody would know what would happen. But all of them wanted to spend time together before all four of them went and half a chance, they wouldn't come back. But Gavin wanted Delilah and wanted to think about her. Peter wanted Delilah just as much as Gavin did, but Delilah was Gavin's and he was willing to forget about his feelings for Delilah so Gavin and Delilah could have the life they always wanted. And he felt like he was interfering too much, nobody knew how much Peter loved Delilah, nobody gets it.
"You feeling okay...Peter...Peter... Earth to Peter." Delilah said trying to get his attention, he turned around and looked at Gavin and Gavin, he knew something was up.
Gavin pulled Peter away and Gavin shut the door and started to question him. Gavin knew Peter better than anyone else, and always knew if things weren't right with him because Peter always made things noticeable when he was unhappy.
"Peter..." Gavin said in a slow tone, "Is everything alright?"
Peter sighed, he didn't want to tell Gavin about what was bugging him because then it could lead to an argument. And there were enough arguments that they had to deal with that can ruin everything.
"Peter you can talk to me about anything and I won't get mad." Gavin added
"I started to fall for her after we ended things," Peter said,
"Who?" Gavin asked, "Lilah?"
Peter nodded he wanted to move past it all because he cared more about his brother than he did himself and they had been together long so he felt it was only fair for him to get the girl.
"If you still love her," Gavin said, "I'm not gonna stand in your..."
"No! No!" Peter said interrupting Gavin, "I deserved that punch you gave me."
"Yeah, you kind of needed it." He said jokingly agreeing, but deep Peter knew that Gavin was right, he needed an awakening and he needed to realize that he couldn't just do what he was doing.
"You deserve your time with Delilah, and if that means you propose to her again and leave... just don't be presumed dead, or I will steal her." Peter joked.
Gavin smirked, "Don't make me punch you to death again," Gavin smiled
"You did a good job at it, the black eye shows it." Peter smirked, "Just go be with her."
"Are you sure?" Gavin asked
"Yeah, there are others I can fall for... like Sophie."
"You have a crush on Sophie?" Gavin said smiling
