"Peter..." a familiar voice said behind Dominic. Peter looked over and so did Mike. Dominic turned around and they couldn't believe it.
It was Gavin.
"Is it really you?" Peter asked trying to process the thought and the fact that his brother was alive and being presumed dead for three months. Dominic and Mike couldn't believe it was actually him.
"It is actually you?" Mike asked trying to process all of it, "How did you survive?"
"I'll explain everything to everyone Mike, I promise." Gavin sighed, "Have you guys seen Delilah?"
Peter gulped the moment he asked for Delilah,
"She just left." Mike said, "She's at her place."
"I can't wait to see her." Gavin said, "Maybe all of us can get together and get drinks."
Dominic and Mike nodded, and Peter did too, Gavin wasn't around for Peter wasn't going to be twenty-one for at least a few more weeks, but he could still eat in a bar. But that wasn't on his mind, he was thinking about what is going to happen when Gavin finds out. Because Gavin was Peter's big brother, and they always told each other everything, this is the one thing that Peter couldn't tell him. As Gavin left, Peter's heart started to beat insanely fast. Mike looked at an anxious Peter as Dominic looked at the both of them.
"What are you going to tell Gavin?" Dominic asked him, Peter knew he was right, Gavin had to know about everything that was happening, but he didn't want him to know. Like at all, he couldn't know. Especially now.
"I don't know, it's about timing," Peter said,
"You're not just going to sweep it all under the carpet are you?" Dominic asked, "because if you don't tell him about you and Delilah, I will."
Peter felt threatened, threatened of the thought of someone telling Gavin before him or Delilah did. Peter also felt somewhat betrayed, he thought Dominic was his friend and of course Dominic's intentions were good, and wanted Peter to do the right thing. But Peter wanted Gavin in the dark.
"What are you gonna do Pete?" Mike asked him, "because if I'm honest, I think Gavin oughta know" Peter was shocked to hear those words from Mike.
"If mike isn't agreeing with you, then you should," Dominic said looking at Mike, pleased that for once someone agreed with him. Deep down, they both knew that Peter wanted to tell him, but Peter was afraid of how his brother would react. Because he knew how he would react and he knew that it would be bad.
"Are you going to tell him?" Mike asked.
"I will tonight," Peter replied, nervous knowing what his reaction would be. But the bandage needed to be peeled off. Nothing would be worse than lying to his brother. And Mike and Dominic were right, Peter needed to know the truth, the truth on what was happening.
Meanwhile, Delilah left the bathroom in tears, and Lucy came into the house and noticed her crying immediately the look on Delilah's face broke Lucy's heart, and immediately she knew that something was not right. Lucy walked over to her and started to comfort her, wiped the tears off her face, and asked her what was happening, and Delilah explained everything to her. From her relationship with Peter, which was already known, to finding out Gavin was alive after ending things with Peter.
"So, what are you going to do?" Lucy asked him
"That's what I am trying to figure out right now." Delilah responded to Lucy, "I'm worried about Peter more than I am worried about myself."
Lucy knew that Delilah felt guilty, but Lucy didn't know if it was because Gavin was back or if she genuinely felt bad, but Lucy knew that Delilah was a genuine person, and went she felt bad about something, people would know it was real and not fake.
