(Y/n)'s POV
"You were wrong about one thing you know." I said to Anakin while we walked side by side towards the stables. I had my eyes on a single oil lamp hanging on the building, guiding our way. And Ahsoka and Padme were walking a foot or two ahead of us, conversing and catching up with each other. Anakin glanced at me in curiosity and I noticed it from the corner of my eye, "Purple is not my favorites color." I clarified, looking in his direction with a smile.

He furrowed his brows, "Yes it is."

"No, it is not," I shook my head.

He narrowed his eyes, "Yes it is, it has been your favorite color since you were nine. You told me yourself."

"Anakin, my favorite color is lilac, not purple," I corrected him.

He then rolled his eyes, "They are the same thing."

"No, there is a difference. Purple is a general response, like you are naming the title of a category, and lilac is more specific." I prefer the lighter and softer tones when it comes to colors, like pastels — which is something he should know by now.

The whole time I was explaining, I could see his expression shift from annoyance to amusement, "So you agree that lilac is listed under the purple category?" He asked and I knew exactly where he was going with this. So I remained silent with a scowl, causing his annoying smirk to widen, "So technically I am still correct."

I rolled my eyes with a sigh, "Whatever Anakin." Today was a long day for me, and I did not have the energy to have another debate with him.

He chuckled, "I am messing with you, I will keep lilac in mind," He said while dragging his feet lazily in the grass. Towards the end of the night he always starts to feel the day catch up to him and it begins to show in his movements or sometimes in the way he talks. But he will never say out loud that he is tired, I feel like he sees basic human necessities as a weakness — men, "Do you know my favorite color?" He asked with a raised brow.

"Of course I do, yellow," I answered with a confident smile.

I make him birthday cards every year and I always make them yellow, because when we met he told me yellow was his favorite color. This was memorable to me because I made fun of it by saying 'yellow is no one's favorite color' which in turn started a small bickering war between us — our first ever one.

He grimaced and shook his head, "No sorry, it is actually sunflower."

I smacked him on the arm as hard as I could, which probably felt like a minor sunburn to him because he did not look fazed or bothered in the slightest — nor did he even flinch, "Do not make fun of me."

With a small laugh, he poked the tip of my nose with his finger, "I am teasing, you make it too easy," He then gestured to my friends who were walking a few steps ahead, "Now go on ahead with them and enjoy yourself. I will be right behind you." He assured me before nudging me to go forward.

I turned to look at him with a knowing glare; he is only trying to get rid of me because we are nearing the stables and he wants to be able to give his attention to his one and only friend, Piett. They do not see each other often since Anakin is with me most of the time, so when they do get the chance to see one another — their sole focus is on each other, and it is the one time Anakin does not watch me like a hawk. I also like to make jokes about them being romantically involved and he gets extremely annoyed by it, but I would not be surprised if there was any truth involved to my accusations.
