Chapter 8: FIRST DAY AHHHH

(Tubbo pov) !tw! Mention of death and blades

Finally my first day on the job came around! I was so excited to actually do some work instead of being bored. When I went inside the building I had to state my agent name and what job I would be working throughout the day. I was given a key card to access the elevator, this was because Ranboo's room was on the 7th floor(the highest one.) When I finally made it to his room I accidentally burst through the doors- again..

"Oh- damnit- sorry bossman, I'll try to remember to knock next time."

"It's alright Tubbo, just take a seat please while I get the paper work out."

Again, as Ranboo said Tubbo did.

This day literally just proves I need an assistant. I don't remember where I left any paperwork regarding missions that have not yet been taken care of. I finally look in the last place I could possibly have left it and thank XD I found them.

"Luckily for you I already filed this paper work, so today you get to be my bodyguard as well as go on a mission with me." I said as I took a seat on my abnormally large chair.

"Yay! I mean- kinda yay? I mean I could literally d!€- but that doesn't matter because I got a super nice weapon." Tubbo spoke taking out his blade.

I studied him while he rambled about how cool his knife was. He wore a new jean jacket, this one was white with a.. L'manberg flag patch stitched onto it. The nation that fell a few years ago. Uhm, okay, never mind that. Like last time only the lower 2 buttons had been buttoned up leaving the top one hanging loosely. He had a black turtle neck on this time, with the same red tie from yesterday. He also had white ripped jeans to match with his outfit, he tried matching a blood red belt with the tie. Surprisingly enough, it worked. I noticed something BARELY that he literally wore the last time we met.

He had a little- 'purse?'.. Anyways, it goes around his neck and leans against waist. Except when he sat, he would put it in his lap. It was the shape of a cloud with little dangly bits that had diamonds attached to them to look like rain drops. I watched him reach for the little bag as he put his blade back in. I was also stupid for not realizing another thing, there was a little pin holding up his bangs.

Well it wasn't exactly 'little', but it was a decent size for a hair pin. It had a medium sized (obviously fake) pink tulip on the edge. I knew it wasn't real, but it looked super realistic. (Its an enderman thing I'm kind of an expert 💅 so what does it mean?... 🫦)

It was obvious Tubbo could tell I was staring.

It was obvious my boss had been staring, he was currently looking at my hair pin. I was going to make a joke, when I realized something my aunt told me when she told a story about an adventure she had.

"Endermen feel attacked or uncomfortable when you look them in the eyes, so try avoiding that if you encounter one!"

I felt like an idiot- I was meant to do this on the first day, but again I forgot. (Okay so who really has the memory problems? Him or Ranboo- like I actually accidentally switched their stuff up.)

The pin was able to hold a good majority of my bangs, but the other side kinda always just dangles off to the side. I took the pin off and let my hair go over my face.
"Do you have a mirror, boo?"

"Uhm yeah- but Tubbo how can you even see?"
Ranboo asks while getting me a small portable mirror.

"The best way to explain it is- it's kinda like an I see you but you can't see me type thing." I say fixing my hair so it looks more presentable.

"Oh- i think I get it? Not really."

"Doesn't really matter anyway, as long as I can see. Oh yeah, sorry for the uncomfortable presence I might've brought with exposing my eyes to you. I didn't mean it, just forgot you were an enderman."

"Oh yeah no that's fine, really."

"Yeah, so this means I can look into your shiny eyes and you'll never know~" I teased, Ranboo just laughed.

"Why do you always gotta ruin moments like these man."
