The Devil That Wears A Familiar Face

Henry picked up his phone off the near by dresser, and answered it to see who was calling this late in the night.

The Call

A: April

H:Henry

A:I didn't wake you, did I?

H: *Rolled eyes* Like you give a damn. Besides, I wasn't sleeping.

A: Poor little Henry...

H: Are you so bored on a Friday night that you had to call me?"

A: I went out to a club with Chloe, using Fake's of course. God, the guards at that door was more gullible than Kyle that time we told him that Satan visit boys if they were bad on Christmas. Chloe is at home getting her stuff together for a sleepover at my place. I just thought instead of keeping myself bored until she comes by, I thought I could call an old friend."

H: Thanks for having me in mind

A:Tell me, how's your date with Enigma went?"

H: First off, her name is Emma. Second, why should I?

A: Getting all defensive, I see. Maybe if I hear how cute you two are, I'll consider dropping this whole thing.

H: We didn't go out tonight.

A: Hen! What did you do to her?

H: Nothing!

A: Ok, enough pussy footing around. You have to give me something juicy.

H: And why is that?

A: So, I can blab it to Jasper.

H: What do you mean?

A: How do you think Jasper found out about you and Emma going out in the first place?

H: Why do you have to stick your nose where it doesn't belong, April? Do you know what that ended up doing?

A: Emma losing her loser friends for a few days. I saw that they got back together, so It wasn't the end of the world. Which is why we needed to up the game.

H: She doesn't deserve this, April. None of it!"

A: This is coming from the guy who broke her heart, made her friends ditch her and had her being verbally abused by making one of our friends be a heartless bastard to her. No matter how you make it out to be, Henry, no one caused her more pain than you did. You can try to lie, charm your way out of it as much as you want, but you know that it's true. When you look into her eyes and see how much she loves you, all you feel is guilt. You are the one to blame for the tears she cried endless for two weeks after she broke up with Kyle.

H: Stop it!

A: Wow. Is Henry getting a conscience?

H: I had a conscience before I stopped hanging out with you guys. Fucking idiots.

A: Well, it's too late anyways.

H: April, you are Satan's daughter!

A: That's great. I know black and red suit me well. So, it has been fun chatting with you. But, I gotta go. Chloe's here.

H: What...What?

A: A little tip Hen: I suggest You don't act so tense all the time at school because Emma is sensing something.

Henry almost didn't want to pick up the phone, but he thought it was someone else. But as of late, it was April's calls. He had also noticed that the only person who was completely sincere with his conversations was April. It was messed up since he hated her guts, yet she was the only he could talk to without leaving anything out.
