How great is this class? Chloe said dropping her picture in the developer. "I mean you take pictures, process the negatives, make prints, and then you can slack off until the next project.

Henry laughed dropping his picture when he just exposed to the developer tray. "Well, what if you'd be in this class without me? Who would you talk to? 

Don't even go there. Chloe smiled knowing if Henry wouldn't be in this class with her she'd be taking pictures of herself all class with her phone. She would choose Henry over her phone anytime in a heart-beat. 

So April, she's totally going crazy over this whole crushing Emma thing."

Shh. Henry shushed Chloe looking around the darkroom to make sure that the few people that were there didn't hear her. 

Oh, sorry. Chloe said when she saw Henry. "How about we call it operation D.E? You know , destruction of you know."

Nah. Henry took his picture with his tongs and put it in the rinse and put it in the rinse tray as Chloe did the same. "Too brutal, I hate the word destruction. It sounds like we are going to kill her." Someone across from Henry looked up at them but then went back to listening to his phone. 

Well, What should we call it genius? Chloe said looking at her picture that she could now see clearly after it's been in the developer.  

Henry put his picture in the stop bath tray and took Chloe's picture at the same time. "It doesn't have to have a name."

Yes it does! Chloe whinned. "Come on! It will be so much more fun that way! 

Henry laughed and looked at the clock in front of them and then took his picture and put it in the fixer tray. "How about C.O?

C.O? Chloe asked confused putting her picture in the fixer tray as well. 

Chloe's operation. Henry smiled. 

This is not my operation! Chloe looked at Henry. "I have nothing to do with it." 

Then why do you want to name it Henry put his tongs in front of Chloe. 

EW! She laughed as she put his tongs down with hers. "That's been in chemicals. Don't let it touch me."

They love to joke around. They were all tight that way:April, Kyle, Henry and Chloe. Henry didn't remember it being this way when he started high school but somehow their little group formed. 

So, we hae this project in history class. Chloe said looking down at her picture again. "And our teacher won't let us choose  our partners! It's up to her. I really wanted to be with Melissa. 

Wait! Henry looked up from his picture to Chloe. "Don't you have history with Emma?"

And your point being...? Chloe looked at Henry rocking the fixer pin. 

You should be her partner! That way we can get the camera in her house. Henry said. 

Okay, maybe you are a little slow, I said we don't pick partners , the teacher said she'll tell us tomorrow. Chloe said. 

And you are gonna be with Emma. Henry smiled. 

How are you going to pull that off? Chloe rasied an eyebrow. 

With your help. Henry said taking his pictures and putting it in water letting it go in circles following the current of the little mini tub as Chloe put her picture in too. 

My help? Chloe questioned. He was really confusing her by not telling her anything. 

At lunch. Henry said. "Meet me outside my foresnic class."    

Why don't you meet me outside my Bio clas? Chloe had to have it her way. 

Henry sighed, "Fine,your class, but I'll be there at the way beginningof lunch. Right as the period is over."

What are we going to do?  Chloe asked. 

Chloe walked out of her class and saw Henry waiting at the door. "You ready?"

Sure I am. Chloe said walking with Henry towards her history class. 

Okay, quick overview of the plan. Henry questioned Chloe. 

I go and ask my teacher something about the assignment she gaves us for tonight and you go in class and take her assignment book and pair me and Emma up. Chloe continued walking with Henry quickly. 

Maybe you should ask for help with soemthing because it might take me a while to find where she wrote the partners. Henry said. 

I can do that. Chloe said when they reached the hallway her class was in. 

Ready? Henry asked. 

Ready as I'll ever be. Chloe said pulling on her bag. 

Good. Henry looked at he empty halllway and walked to the entrance of the boy's bathroom which past the classroom. 

Miss Evans, Chloe called her teacher when she saw her going out of her classroom. 

Yes, Chloe? she smiled as she stopped walking to greet Chloe. 

I didn't get what you were saying in class. Chloe said happy that Miss Evans had her back to her classroom. 

Today? Miiss Evans asked confused. "Chloe, we were talking about the Reconstruction period, what's there to get?"

Umm..Chloe started, "Well, yeah. It's very confusing."

Henry sneaked silently into the classroom as Miss Evans was busy with Chloe to notice him  walking behind her. 

Henry headed straight to the teacher's desk and looked on it, but there was only an assignment she had collected from the students that day. He tried to open the drawer but it was locked. 

Shit. Henry said then he put his hand underneath the desk and felt a key. Henry smiled and opened the drawer with the key. 

There were so many worksheets and three assignment books. He picked one up bit it was the 'Attendance' so he just put it back. The other assignments book had nothing on the cover so Henry opened it. 

Score. He saw in big letters. "Reconstruction Project" printed on top of the second page followed by a list of pairs of students. He quickly started searching for Chloe and Emma's names.

'Emma Parker and Melissa Price' and 'Johnny Wilson' and 'Chloe Hartmen':Henry erased Melissa and Chloe's names and switched them. He copied the teacher's handwriting and it was almost identical.'Emma Parker and Chloe Hartmen' Henry smiled. He put the assignment book back in place and closed the drawer and taped the key back in place. 

Henry walked to the door and saw that Miss Evan's back was still to him. "I don't understand why you don't get that it was necessary to have reconstruction after the civil war."

So, What if there was a war! I mean we don't spend millions of dollars every year after a war ended just for kicks."

It's not for kicks, Chloe. Miss Evan said now frustrated. 

Chloe saw Henry signaling her to finish up as he walked again to the boy's bathroom just until Miss Evan left the hallway or went back to her classroom. 

Okay. Chloe said. "Not for kicks, just to make an economy better."             

That's--Miss Evan started but then stopped herself. "Yeah,that's what I've been trying to tell you."

Chloe nodded, "I get it now."

Miss Evan raised her eye-brow. How could anyone not understand something that simple about history?

Thanks. Chloe smiled and walked away. 

Miss Evan looked after Chloe but then went out in the hallway. 

Henry then walked out if the bathroom when he heard Miss Evan walk away. "Operation No-name is on it's way."

A/n: I'm sorry that it's taking a few chapters to make the actual story but these are actaully important to essential for later Chapters.
