I know I am a little late for this chapter, but I was working on another story and I almost completely forgot about this one, but I'm back.

Emma sat down and put her bag next to her.

Who was that? Charlotte asked curiously.

Who? Emma turned to Charlotte.

That girl who just hugged you.

Oh. Emma giggled. "Jamie. Henry and I doubled with her and her boyfriend, Zach.

Oh. Charlotte nodded. "That was kind of weird because I was like "hey! who the hell was that?"

Emma laughed again.

"Anyways, how was detention?"

Not that bad, Because Jamie got detention as well due to talking in class. She and I were entertained. Emma smiled.

Aha, Well, the teacher sucks for thinking it was you. Charlotte said. "Oh, Jasper and I were talking about how we will kill whoever it is.

Emma shrugged, "Doesn't matter, It's done with and what's the point of being a teacher's favorite if they don't even believe you when you need them to?"

I guess. Charlotte chuckled.

Emma looked down at her lap and then Charlotte again, "Hey Charlotte, can I ask you something?"

Sure. Charlotte shifted in her seat so she was facing Emma.

"If something was bothering you regarding Jasper, Would you talk to him about it?"

Depends on the situation. Charlotte said. I'd ask you to talk to me. She joked. "But don't ask me for advice since I'm really dysfunctional when it comes to relationships."

Emma nodded.

"Why are you asking, Em? Is something going on with Jasper?"

Emma shook her head, "No, nothing."

"Something else you want to talk to me about?"

No, it's ok. Emma smiled reassuringly at her. The last thing she wanted was to get Henry in trouble with her friends. He didn't do anything wrong.

Meanwhile...

Henry looked at the basket as he aimed and made that shot easily.

He ran to get the ball and dribbled back to the 3-pointer line so he could shoot.

Hey. He heard as he turned to the source of the voice.

Hi. He acknowledged him and looked back at the basket.

Kyle looked down at his basketball. When did it become this hard for him to speak to Henry? "So, without you killing me, could you tell me how Emma is doing?"

Henry looked at him surprised. "Umm, fine. She's good."

Kyle nodded. "You're lucky, you know? That you have her."

I know. Henry stopped bouncing the ball. "What's the deal?"

"With what?"

"You come to me and asking about her. He clarified.

"Can't I ask? I did go out with her after all."

No, you didn't. Henry said harshly. "Do you actually call what you had with her a relationship?"

She does. Kyle spitted out. "Look, Henry, I didn't come here to argue with you. I just wanted to know how she was. Personally, I thought you'd rather ask you than coming to her. Kyle started walking away, "And for the record, I do consider what I had with Emma a relationship. Dysfunctional and not really normal, but a relationship nonetheless."
