Emma continued writing down the notes. There were only 2 minutes left of history class anyway. It was a good thing that Ms. Kelly returned since that sub was almost close clueless. Since it was a free period the day she wasn't there, the class was behind now. The class complained when they heard they had to the extra work.

"So, the bell's going to ring soon, how about we call it a day?"

Immidealtey, the class started packing up and talking. For the first time in a while, Emma hurried up too.

Chloe! She called.

Chloe turned around to look at Emma.

Emma put all her stuff in her bag quickly and walked to the brunette. "About what you said before." Chloe looked at her confused, "Why should I remember Kyle. Sure, sometimes Henry doesn't plan out exactly what we will do on a date but the truth is: I don't need him to. Just by sitting there and doing nothing with him, I have the best time. Maybe I don't feel dangerous with him, but it just feels right. She smiled.

Ring-Ring

"I'll see you later."

Emma walked away from Chloe. The realization had just dawned upon her and she was just so happy. She just needed to tell Chloe about it but the words just came out and were not planned.

She walked through the hallway, passing people left and right, and continued until she got to her french class. She sat down and copied her homework, "Good morning, Mrs. Giard."

The teacher looked up and gave a nod in her direction.

"Bonjour, April."

Bonjour. April smiled at her teacher.

it's called being pathetic. April whispered when she passed Emma's desk.

It's called being a slut. Emma whispered back.

She opened up her notebook and started drawing. A few minutes later, she looked at what she had drawn absentmindedly. She looked at the heart and smiled. "No, was it possible...?"

The teacher started speaking as the bell had just rung but all Emma could hear was her heart beating.

She looked back to the drawing. Was it truly happening or was she just getting ahead of herself?

English class.

That's really it. She whispered.

Pardon, Mrs. Parker? Mr. T looked in her direction, the book in hand.

I meant. Emma said thinking quickly, "that....it's exactly what the passage I am reading."

That's nice to know, Emma. He said as the rest of the class laughed.

Yes, it is. She smiled, talking about an entirely different thing.

Mr. T, April raised her hand, "I think Emma should answer your question. I mean, if she was thinking of it while she was reading anyway." She turned to Emma and smiled.

Oh, umm...Emma started.

I think it would be a good idea for Emma to start listening and then maybe she can answer my question. Mr. T smiled and then looked towards Emma.

I was listening. Emma said after locating where they were in the book from the girl sitting in front of her. She picked up her book and turned to that page. "and I'm guessing they have these morals. I mean, we just think of her actions as odd ut we haven't lived in that time period and location. Their mind-setting was quite different and not to mention their lifestyles were anything but normal.
