Emma wrote her homework down in her notebook. She then flipped to the French section in her French class, she took the night before reading when She saw someone put an envelope in her hand and opened it. 

"What's this?" 

What does it look like, genius? April rolled her eyes. "It's an invitation to my party. A private party actually. 10 people.

So, What's the catch? Emma looked from the invitation to April. "I mean you wouldn't just invite me to one of your parties."

"No catch. But believe me that if this was completely up to me, I wouldn't even hand you a piece of paper."

"This is your party, you can invite whoever you want." 

"True. But I want Kyle to come and I know he wouldn't unless I invite you."

 And what makes you think I will come? Emma held out the invitation for April to take back. 

Don't kid yourself. April said then ignored the invitation Emma was holding up. "Unfortunately for me, You'll be there. Even if You go lying about not wanting to come Kyle's going to convince you to go. So, let's save  the trouble and I'll see you there." With this April left and went to her own seat. 

The bell rang shortly after that. 

Lunch

What's wrong? Kyle asked. 

Emma shrugged picking at her food. "Are we going to April's party Friday?" She looked up from him. 

"We? Did you get invited? that's great! Kyle said excitedly. 

It's not great. She doesn't even want me there. The only reason she said she was inviting me was so You can be there." 

"Because of me?" 

"Yeah. She said that if she didn't invite you that You will never come. The only reason she invited me is because of you."

"She did?"

Emma nodded. 

I'll be right back. Kyle got up angrily. 

 Kyle? What? No! Don't go to her! She'll hate me than she already does."

"Em, She's my friend, I can talk to her and tell if she's a bitch. I have a right if she's acting this way to my girlfriend."  

Kyle, it doesn't matter! We hate each other. She can be a bitch without you protecting me. Kyle ignored Emma and went walking to his friends. 

Would you care to explain why you invited Emma to your party only to give her a hard time about it? Kyle asked frustrated about it. 

Chill, She's not even your real girlfriend. April said offended. "And since when are you going all protective over her?"

Henry saw Emma in the distance. "It's an act. He looked at April. It's got a look real. Emma is watching and he is trying to make it look real. 

Well, in that case. April looked furious towards Emma. "At least I invited her to my party!"

 "For what?! To make her feel uncomfortable?!"

"Of course not! So, You'll come. I'm not going to start being nice to her because you two are going out! I don't care how in love you are with her."

You're right. You don't have to be nice to her but you sure as hell aren't going to give her a hard time about it! If we come to the party and you do anything to make her feel bad about it, You can forget about me and you ever be friends."
