Why would he ask her out again? She was a complete mess and she proved it to him. Not purposefully, she just was nervous because it was her first date since Kyle. The date went well nevertheless, she was a mess inside because she was also thinking of Kyle as well.

Mr. Thompson dropped a paper on her desk and continued distributing papers the papers he had in his hand.

Emma flipped it over to check her grade.

"You have got to be kidding me."

She looked over at the circled red-inked  37 over 40.

"Oh my god. Is that still an A? Divided by two out of twenty times five...thank god! It's 92.5. Now, that we got that settled, Emma, Why didn't I get a perfect A?!"

Emma looked through her essay for her teacher's comment and she found 3 of them. She read them over.

"Why does this sound famil--"

Emma started turning the pages of her binder to find her peer review. Was it possible that April actually corrected the mistakes that she had?

If she would actually try to take April's comment seriously, she would have received a perfect. The bell rang as Emma shook her head and put everything in her binder and her binder into her book back as she walked out of the class.

What did you get? April asked as soon as she sat and saw Emma looking over her essay.

Emma ignored her as she knew this question was only to see who did better.

Parker did horrible. April chanted as she took out her chemistry binder.

Did not. Emma lowered her essay.

Then tell me. April got closer to Emma. 'What did you get?"

A low A. Emma returned looking straight in her eyes.

"What?!?"

What did you get? Emma asked with a smile on her face.

Higher than you. April assured as she took out her assignment book and wrote down the homework.

Emma snatched April's binder and took out the essay.

What the hell?! April said angrily trying to get it back from her.

Look's like Miss Perfect isn't living up to her name. Emma mocked.

"It's two-point which is nothing compared to your three points!"

Class, Pay attention to the front. Mr. Thompson said as he was finished with passing out the rest of the class paper.

Later...

Hey, Henry. Emma sat down across from him and took out her notebook.

So, what did you do Friday night? he asked her.

Wh-- She started but then smiled. " I went on a date."

"Oh really? With who?"

What's it to you? Emma kinked her eyebrow.

"Just asking. I bet he was an ass."

Emma giggled, "Not at all actually. Very romantic and Sweet. I can't wait for Friday."

Why? What's Friday?  Henry smirked as he continued.

"Second date."

"Be careful."

"Why?"

"Because guys that set their second date two Fridays in a row usually take the girl to a strip joint and force her to dance."
