Love, Actually, Probably, Maybe... or Not

I'm telling you, Charlotte. He's playing her. Jasper said when he was sitting with his girlfriend in her room a few days later. 

Come on, Jasper. You promise Emma, you'll give him a chance. Charlotte protested. 

I tried, but he's really playing her. A few nights ago, when we watched the movie he asked me if I had condoms he can borrow."

Maybe he was just trying to get under your nerves. Charlotte suggested. 

Oh, believe me, if that's his plan, it's working. Just try to get past the Bullshit act he has put on for us. Jasper said furiously. 

Charlotte sat there in silence, "Emma doesn't  deserve someone like that."

"I know."

In class 

Kyle. Charlotte said from her seat when she was in English. 

Yeah. He turned around to his girlfriend's friend. "What's up?"

"Stop playing my friend." 

Kyle raised a brow, "What are you talking about?"

"Jasper told me what you told him. Emma doesn't deserve any of that. Emma explained. 

"Well, I have no idea what Jasper but it's a lie. Why would I risk losing my girlfriend? Look Charlotte, Jasper has a problem with me and he'll make up stories to make me look bad. What I want is to be with my girlfriend, whom I love, is that a crime?"   

Charlotte looked at Kyle. He was being sincere and she didn't know how to reply. She then looked at her desk as Kyle turned around to face the teacher as the class started. 

Emma's house 

Kyle opened up Emma's bedroom quietly and made sure he did not make a noise as he walked slowly to Emma. He put both his hands on her shoulder as she jumped and quickly turned around. 

Kyle! Don't scare me like that! She got up from her chair and gave him a hug. 

Couldn't resist. A smile spread across his face as he leaned closer to her to give her a kiss. 

After a short period of time, Emma broke the kiss, "I can't today."

Kyle raised a brow, "huh?"

Emma pointed to the many index cards scattered across her desk. "I have  a test in Chemistry class."

Kyle nodded, "I'll help you study." 

Yeah, right. Emma laughed. "That's not possible." 

Yes, it is. Kyle gathered the index cards and sat on Emma's bed as she raised a brow.

What exactly are you doing? Emma asked. 

"Helping you study."

Kyle, it's 8. It's not like I have a lot of time to study. I should really concentrate."

Ok. Kyle said. "I ask you and if you get it right, we make out."

'And if I get it wrong?"

Kyle thought, "Then we don't make out."

Emma laughed. "Okay, go for it." She sat down next to him.

Kyle leaned towards Emma for a kiss. After a few minutes Emma back away. Okay, She giggled, "Next."
