"Emma."

Hey, Charlotte. Emma answered her phone. "What's up?"

We're meeting up for Pizza in like half an hour. You'll be there, right?"

I...Yeah, of course. She smiled to herself.

"Good. So, see you in a few."

Charlotte. Emma said quickly before Charlotte hung up.

"Yeah?"

"Thanks, for everything. I don't you guys."

Yes, You do. Well, the old you anyway as long as you're here again and not the new and awful Emma. She joked. "See you soon."

Yeah. Emma hung up. It was nice to know she wouldn't need to get all dressed up. It was hard to imagine Fridays without Kyle but at least she had her friends.

Pizza Place

"What are you having?"

"Olives."

"Nice. Have you tried Pickles?"

Ew, Pickles? Are you crazy? The four of them laughed.

Oh Shut up! My dad used to make pickles with weird toppings when my great-granddad died. They were good."

"Okay, But Pickles?"

It's good! Charlotte argued.

"I'm sure it is."

They managed to order their pizza over their laughter.

It's nice to have you back with us, Em. Charlotte smiled. Jasper and Piper nodded in agreement.

"It's nice to be back."

Ok, now because we were so nice to you by calling you and making sure you weren't miserable you owe us something. Jasper grinned.

Uh-oh. Emma laughed. "What is it?"

"You pay for the Pizzas."

What? Emma protested.

Or we throw you into the river? Piper added.

Emma turned to Piper surprised.

"We talked about it, Emma. Which one will it be?"

Throw me in the river. Sounds like it would be much more fun. Emma teased.

Sounds good. Charlotte chuckled.

I'll do both because both of those aren't enough to repay for what I've done."

Em, we were kidding about the river. Jasper said.

Emma shook her head. "I'm not."

You're insane! Do you know how cold that water is? Piper informed her.

"I don't know, maybe it would be cold because it's water?"

I am so doing this with you. Charlotte exclaimed.

"Wait, you two are actually going to jump in that river?"

Emma and Charlotte nodded. "I don't know why Emma's doing it but think about it as my apology. Aside from saying it one million more times of course.

"Oh, I'm doing it for the hell of it. There's nothing wrong with doing something extreme."

Hell yeah. Emma giggled as their pizzas came and they started eating.

Emma was happy to be in their company again. She forgot how great they could be and how they cheered her up. She wasn't over Kyle though and she never be, but at least she was smiling again. Emma's smile quickly went away when she lifted her head from her PIzza.
