Now You See Me

Mission: Interpersonal

Henry, still his eyes closed, reached for the phone trying to grab it. He refused to open his eyes he knew he could locate his phone with his eyes closed. He was beyond stubborn. 

When Henry was finally able to answer the phone he made a "hmm" noise to let the person on the other line know that they could speak. 

Good morning. Henry heard April's cheery voice. 

April, What time is it? Henry finally opened his eyes too lazy turn his head to look at the clock on his dresser. 

10:15. she laughed. 

It's 10 already? Henry sat up, "I'm sorry, baby. I guess I went to sleep late and didn't get up."

"It's fine, no big deal. "Are we still on for today?"

"Of course, you feel like coming over here?"

"Ummmhmm, do you want me to come over now?"

" If you can."

I can. April said. "I'll be over in a few. See ya!"

Good. Henry said to himself and put his back on the dresser and went back under the covers. But 10 seconds later he decided it would be dest if he got dressed.

In his Kitchen   

Henry was in his kitchen eating his cereal as he as thinking about the night before. He couldn't stop staring at Emma playing her guitar. How can a girl like that have such a strong connection to music?  He knew it was strong. He saw the way she was playing her guitar and singing. It was more than just "Hey, I can play guitar!" It seemed it meant something to her and why did she lie to Kyle about it? 

A knock on the door disturbed his thoughts. Henry put his bowl into the sink and walked to go open the door.  

April had donuts in her hand and she smiled up at her boyfriend. Henry leaned down to give her a kiss and then let April in. 

How was yesterday? April asked walking to Henry's bedroom as he followed. 

The date you mean? Henry sat on his bed as April did the same. April nodded.

"Fine, I guess. She's falling for Kyle so the plan is still on." 

April nodded once again, "Look Henry, I want to apologize."

Why? Henry said then looked at her confused. 

About not being myself. I mean I'm so caught with this whole plan. I guess it's because I hate her. She brings out the worst in me and I promise I won't be like that again."

Henry laughed, "Okay." 

April smiled and gave Henry another kiss. "You're the best."

Henry looked on his laptop where Emma was sitting with Jasper, Piper, and Charlotte. "Do you play a musical instrument, Ap?

No. April replied. "Why do you ask?"

Just wanting to know. Henry said. 

Oh, ok. April said as she took the notebook that was next to the laptop and lay on her stomach like Henry did the same. "You want a donut?"

Sure. Henry smiled at his girlfriend. She's really getting better about this whole Emma thing.

April took out a donut out and broke a piece and fed Henry. She started laughing when he ate it fromm her hand and then he kissed her again. "Did i ever tell you how much I like you?"
Aprils miled. "I believe you have."

"And what do you have to say about it?"

"I have to say that you're the best boyfreind in the world." She kissed Henry again but this time they started making out.
