Chapter 5

Jason

I've been thinking about what Taylor said. The Jason she knows is alot different than the Jason she met yesterday. I honestly have no idea what happened to that Jason I guess I just changed. I had to leave her behind, but I never want to because honestly I can't live without her. But I had no choice. I had to leave for her safety and I'd rather leave her than stay and let her get hurt. I know I hurt her now too. But if I stayed she wouldn't even be here anymore. I never forgot about her. She was always on my mind. Always! I always thought of her. But I also thought she would've forgotten about me. I hurt Taytay so bad and she actually doesn't deserve all of this. She was always there for me. She always helped me. She never let me down. Only Taytay could make me smile when I was sad or down. She always made me laugh. I missed her. I missed my bestfriend.

I woke up with a small body pressed against mine. I opened my eyes to see Taylor sleeping in my arms. How the hell did we end up like this? I'm sure we didn't fall asleep like this. Taylor started to move which meant she was waking up. She opened her eyes and yawned. I chuckled. I have to say she's cute.

I told you guys I never meant to kidnap her, but I had to kidnap her to be honest. They're after her. I killed someone and because of that they wanna hurt me. They know how much Taylor means to me and how much I love her. I've always had a crush on her.

"Morning." She groaned.

"Good morning." I smiled.

I cleared ny throat. I'm gonna tell her why she's here.

"Uhm. I have to tell you something." I mumbled.

She looked at me.

"You are here for a reason." I told her.

"Why am I here?" she asked confused.

I sighed and tried not to make eye contact.

"They're after you. They wanna kill you." I whispered.

Her beautiful eyes filled with tears.

"Who are they? And why do they wanna kill me?"

Taylor was shaking.

"My enemies. They wanna try to hurt me by killing you. They know you mean alot to me. I'm not a good guy, Taytay. I'm the guy your parents warn you off. I kill and hurt people for living. I'm in trouble most of the time. I have to hide. I don't have a normal life." I explained her.

"No matter what you will always be my bestfriend. I've known you for years and I know you have a good heart. I know you better than anyone. I know who you really are. The guy I see now isn't the real Jason. When I look into your eyes I see the real Jason. The one who made me smile, laugh and happy. And I know you will protect me. I'm safe with you." she told me, her eyes never leaving mine.

"I'm so sorry for hitting you. I never meant to. And I won't let anybody hurt you." I promised.

She laid her head on my chest.

"I missed you." I said.

"I missed you too." I smiled and kissed her head.

I'm happy I have my bestfriend back.
