Denki's P. O. V

" Goodbye's are one of the worst things in life. 

It's a word you never want to say to someone. 

'goodbye'

It means exactly what you think. 
'This is the last time you'll be seeing me'
Or
'I don't know if we'll see each other again. So if this is the last time..Goodbye. '

That's why we say,  'See you later'.  'see ya'. 'talk to you later'.

Sometimes yeah,  'Bye', 'goodbye'.

But you know you'll see them again. 

You know you'll both be joking around,  getting in troubled together the very next day. 

...

Why couldn't it have been like that? Why didn't he come back.  Why'd he say goodbye. 

'goodbye'

Stupid fucking word.

You should've said 'see ya later babe.'  then maybe you would've come back. 

So why the fuck would you say 'goodbye' you never say 'goodbye'...

Did you know this was going to happen?  You knew and still fucking left.  Still went despite knowing the fucking outcome..

You dumbass.

You fucking idiot. " (basically that was all in his mind BTW,  like a monologue of a sort? )

I glared down at the mocking grey slab of stone.  It was sprinkling,  and windy almost as if it where the gods mocking and toying with me more.  'setting the mood in a T.V show'.

Hot tears were streaming down my face,  as I dropped to my knees hand gripping onto my pants I glared at the name on the stone.  'Shoto Todoroki'

" You fucking left. Shoto. You left me. Were you too fucking prideful to ask for help?!  Huh?  Why didn't you fucking tell anyone!?  The whole team could've helped you Shoto!  We could've fucking helped you asshole!- I.. - I could've helped you.. " I growled,  glaring harder,  and as if the skies knew my mood it started raining harder,  wind getting harsher. 

"You just had to try and surpass Midoriya?! Huh?  You couldn't be satisfied with number 3 hero?!  Eh? - I'll never forgive you,  you bastard!  I'll never fucking forgive you for making me love you!  Never will I forgive you for making my weak heart bleed,  and for this pain you have brought onto me!  All this sorrow,  this depression,  all this...  This want to die. To see you. To fucking be with you again.. " I Sniffled trying to stop the tears,  trying to calm myself.

I've never been one to feel the want to die this badly.  The want to just,  end everything and say goodbye to my loved ones that are left here. 

I looked down at my lap, feeling anger spike, and threw my hands down at the ground in a fit of rage,  screaming out, digging my hands into the dirt  gripping onto it, now in a bowing position,  my forehead touching the ground. 

"you've broken me Todo..  You've hurt me worse then anyone has before.  You've left a wound so deep,  I hope it kills me.  I hope it kills me,  so you can see how bad it's affected me!  So you can see the pain! So you can see what you've done!  How dare you- how - how fucking dare you make me fall for you,  and then leave all because of your stupid ass need to be number 1! Did I not fucking matter to you?!" I cried out panting slightly out of breath. 

The weather grew even worse, the skies darkening more if possible , the thunder growling and howling loudly as if pained and lightning striking in fits of sadness and rage. 

Autors P.O.V

Denkis cries of rage,  and pain grew louder,  he pounded at the wet dirt underneath him, where his chest would've been.  Where his heart should be beating. 

His arms should be wrapping around him,  comforting, and holding him. His mouth should be whispering sorries, as he rubbed his back softly.

"You fucker!" he cried out loudly,  "you stupid idiot! You-you could have called" he screamed,  stopping his prior movements arms going limp. "you could have called me.. " he whimpered out. 

Thunder growled out loudly,  as Denki's face contorted into anger once more,  "Why the fuck didn't you call me as soon as you spotted them,  you knew there was too many you're a fucking fool to think you could've taken down the LOV and their little goons all on your own without any fucking help!! " he screamed,  lightning striking close by as he leaned up,  glaring at the name once more. 

"you loved your work more. Didn't you?  I mean this obviously speaks for itself.  You had time to call someone for backup. Everyone knows it.  You selfish dick." he growled out,  pain filling his soul,  and body,  he could physically feel himself being torn apart,  as he groped at his chest in pain,  he cried more for his love. 

"I love you! I gave you as much as I could Shoto!  I gave you every part of me!  My love,  my body,  my pains,  my worries,  my hope, my concerns, my everything!  I shared everything with you Shoto!... And you couldn't simply reach out for backup so you could return home safely?!  So you could return to our friends,  your family, your fans!  To me Shoto!  To the fucking person you married and swore you loved! " he shouted, "I fucking loved you Shoto Todoroki! " he yelled,  thunder booming loudly behind,  the rain growing more harder,  feeling like rocks pelting at Denkis skin, the wind though has calmed itself a bit just brushing against him every so often.

After a few minutes of continuous sobs,  and curses, Denki shuffled forward and leans his back against the stone. 

A sudden calmness rushing over him, the rain slowed halting it's assault and pounding,  the thunder only lightly growling every so often,  lightning disappearing with the rage,  to only be replaced with sadness. 

The wind lightly caressed  Denkis face,  as if to wipe the tears and pain away, as if to say 'it's okay.'

The sky still darkened, and gloomy. 

Denki could hear the faint sound of his soaked phone ringing, but he ignored it,  brushing his damp hair back. 

"why'd you say goodbye? "

'Im sorry'

"did you know..? "

'yeah.. '

" if you did...  Why didn't you tell me?"

' I was selfish..  I'm sorry please forgive me,  my love.  I wanted to do something great, and lost sight of what really mattered..  Us.  Our love.  You.. '

Todoroki sat there beside the weeping, and pain filled male the whole time,  whispering answers that couldn't pass through to the male. 

Denki tensed  as the breeze blew against him,  and he smiled a little a sob breaking through despite trying to hold it back,  as he heard a 'I'm sorry.'

"goodbye Shoto." he whispered as he stood up on his shakey legs,  walking back towards his car.  "I love you.. " he whispered almost silently. 

"I love you too,  sparkey..  Please visit.  Don't let this goodbye be the last time I see you.. "
