This takes place in their last year of U.A

Denki made his way to his dorm room with Iida trailing behind him watching the bouncy blonde as he talked about how cool Iida looked while fighting with Todoroki, and how he did better than he did when they were in their first year. Iida smiled and nodded along with whatever the younger was saying, and corrected him on some incorrect points, or answered his questions about the two 'HIT's fight.

 (HIT'S = Heros in Training.)

Once the two made it to the dorm, Iida crashed on the bed as Denki closed the door and made his way to the closet grabbing a T-shirt and a pair of boxers, "Hey, Iida do you- maybe want to shower with me?" He asked curiously, Iida sat up and nodded, "Sure."

Denki opened the bathroom door and took his shirt off humming quietly, as Iida followed.

Iida shrugged off his shirt as well, sluggishly following Denki. He felt tired from today's training, and honestly just wanted to sleep, but he wouldn't pass an opportunity to shower and spend time with his Boyfriend at the same time. 

But all that tiredness wore off almost immediately when he opened his eyes more and saw Denki's back, covered in burns that looked like multiple giant lightning bolts that went throughout his back. Tiny ones decorated his back as well. 

"Denk's..." Iida whispered as he rushed towards the male and grabbed his arms, Denki turned around confused and raised a brow, "Yeah? "He asked tilting his head to the side. 

Iida's eyes widened in even more horror at the sight of the younger's chest and arms, "what the hell?! How have i not noticed this??" He whispered to in shock to say anything more. 

Denki's eyes widened and he laughed softly, "OH! This? " He motioned to his body and went to speak but Iida cut his off. 

"Denki! Are you hurting yourself? Is-is that what this is?? " He asked as he motioned to the tiny burns on his side and back, he cupped Denki's face and looked him in the eyes "You can be honest with me baby I promise." Iida then looked confused as Denki started laughing, and when he kissed Iida's nose and gently pulled away. 

"Iida babe. I haven't harmed myself in three years. You know the scars i got from that-"He pointed to the tiny scars that lit up on his wrist, "It's from the overuse of my quirk, it does that. All the scars i got become more visible. As for the burns-" He motioned to the bigger bolts on his chest, "Thats also from the overuse of it. It's happened so much I can't even feel it." He smiled and grabbed Iida's hand kissing it. "I promise my love i haven't harmed myself. Not purposely at least." He assured the blue haired male. 

Iida let out a breath of relief, "Thank the stars! I was so worried. " He pulled Denki into a hug, kissing his cheek.

Denki smiled and pulled away kissing Iida on the lips, "I'm fine love." He whispered, "I would never do that to you. I would never break my promise to you. Plus, I've done well for so long, I wouldn't break that now." Denki looked down frowning, "Your face just now, when you thought that.... I harmed myself. And your face when you found out i was Self harming back then. Its- Its what's keeping me from doing that. " He looked back up teary eyed, and cupped Iida's face, " I love you too much, I never want to see that look on your face again! So, I'll keep my promise, always and forever, I will come to you if I ever feel that itch again." 
(Me imagining Deku's voice right here for some reason lmfao)

Iida smiled softly a few tears sliding down his cheek as he pressed another tender kiss to Denki's hand that laid on his cheek, "And I promise I'll listen and be there when you need me." He whispered. 

The two showered and were now laid in bed snuggled up.

"Have you told Aizawa about the burns?" Iida asked.

"Not yet. It just started happening recently, it hasn't flared up like this in a long while." Denki hummed quietly, "I've been wary about using it a lot, that's why it hasn't happened for a while." he continued, "I've been pushing myself recently, so I can train my quirk more and more, to get stronger, it's the reason I've barely gone stupid anymore, I've gotten to the point where i won't 'whey' out anymore unless i use my quirk way too many times."

Iida nodded, "I'm proud of you Denk's. But we need to tell Mr. Aizawa." Iida muttered, placing a kiss on the youngers head, "Just in case, maybe the support course can come up with some sort of cream for your burns??? " He hummed in concern, "I don't want you to be in any pain." He reasoned, Denki hummed and nodded. 

"Okay we can do that." Denki smiled as he turned around in Iida's hold, their faces inches apart.

The two looked at each other with nothing but love, and care in their eyes.

Soon the two connected their lips in a loving kiss before parting ways into dreamland :)))
