My stomach starts growling. "You're still hungry? We just ate." Enji asks. "Don't blame me. I'm going to be eating lunch twice a day for a while." I respond as I stroke Shoto's curly hair. We were watching a kids movie. "What do you want?" I think for a minute. "A chicken salad." "This is a random choice. But I got you." Enji kisses my stomach before getting up. "Mama why are you always so hungry?" Shoto asks. "Because your baby brother is always hungry." I tell him. Fuyumi sits in her dad's seat next to me and placed her head on my stomach. "Mommy I felt a kick!" She exclaimed. I smile, watching her. Touya and Natsu were busy comparing hair length. "My braids are longer." "No way mine is longer!" "Your hair is white Natsu so it gives the illusion of longer hair." "Nuh-unh." "Yuh-hunh stupid!" "Touya Josiah Todoroki! Don't call your brother stupid. Apologize to your brother." I scold. "But mom-" "Apologize to your brother. We don't put each other down in this house." Touya sighs. "I'm sorry for calling you stupid Natsu. You're not stupid. You're really smart." "Apology accepted." Natsu hugs his older brother. "My hair's still longer." Touya antagonizes. "Nuh-unh!" "Boys. What are you gonna do?" Fuyumi sighs and shakes her head. I laugh at her remark. I yawn. "Mommy are you sleepy?" Shoto asks. I nod. My bladder starts pushing me. I struggle to up. "Dad! Mom's trying get up." Touya yells. Enji comes in seconds later. He helps me up. "Where are you going?" "I have a bladder like a toddler." Enji nods and escorts me upstairs, holding my back. I walk into the bathroom and sit on the toilet. Enji stayed with me. He helps me off the toilet when I'm done and I wash my hands after flushing the toilet. Enji walks me downstairs holding my back and hand. "Five kids." I pant. "We're going to have five beautiful children. I salute you for this. Are you sure you want two more?" "Let's stop at five." Enji nods. "I don't like seeing you in pain, even though you're creating and housing our baby. I don't know how it feels but watching you go through it is a painful but beautiful experience. God I love you so much. I'm extremely proud of you." Enji pulls me close and kiss me. I kiss him back and we head back to the family room. I sit down. Enji squats down in front of me and lift my shirt up. "I can't wait to meet you my precious son. I promise to keep you and mommy safe." He says while rubbing my stomach. He plants kisses on my stomach. My stomach growls. Enji laughs. "I'll get back to your chicken salad." Enji stands and walks into the kitchen. "Let's play save the winter queen!" Shoto announces. Touya sighs. "I'll go get my dragon suit." All the kids disappear, to get their costumes and props. Enji comes back with my food. "Thank you." I start eating. "Save me Prince Shoto!" "Grr." Touya says flatly as he holds his sister hostage. "Fight me dragon!" Natsu challenge. I continue to eat. I finish a while after. I struggle to get up. "What do you want?" "Some tea." "I'll make it for you." "No I need the exercise. Just help me up." Enji grab my hands and help me up. "Thank you." I walk into the kitchen with the dirty dishes. I wash them and put the tea kettle on. I wait for the water to boil. I hear them thumping. "Boys tone it down. You better not be running in the house!" I warn. I hear something fall. I walk into the living room. "Sorry mama I dropped my book." Fuyumi apologized. "Just making sure your brothers aren't tearing up the house. Where's your father?" "He went upstairs." Shoto says. "Okay." I walk back into the kitchen. I grab my mug, tea bag and sugar. I pour the sugar in and place a tea bag in. I grab the kettle. "We'll get you dragon!" I hear. Everything happens in a flash. Without looking, Touya crashes into me, trying to get out of Shoto's reach. Natsu was catching up. The kettle in my hand flies out, opening and hot water spills on Shoto. He screams. "Oh my god!" I rush over to Shoto. "It's okay." I start to panic. I calm myself down. "What happened?" Fuyumi asks. "Fu go get the first aid kit. Natsu get your father." I instructed. "I'm sorry. Will he be okay?" Touya asks. "He's gong to be fine." I place my hand on his burn and release ice. He screams louder and cries. I jerk back quickly. "It's okay sweetie. Mommy will make it better." "It hurts!" I choke back tears. "I know sweetie." I wipe his tears. "What the hell happened?!" Enji asks. I take the first aid kit from Fuyumi. "I crashed into mom and the hot water she was carrying spilled on Shoto, after she told us repeatedly to behave." Touya confess, rubbing his arm. I rub ointment on Shoto's face by his left eye where it was severely burned. I wrap a bandage around his head, covering his eye. I take Shoto's clothes off, inspecting him. His body was burned too but not badly. If only I had healing powers. I rub some more ointment on him and place bandaids on him. I then wrap a bandage around his stomach. I dress him. I get up and pick him up. I hug him, wiping his tears away. "It's okay sweetie. You're alright." I coo as I rock him. "This is why mommy and I say no running in the house and to tone it down." Enji says while finish mopping the spill. "Will he be okay?" Touya asks. "He will be." I reply. Touya takes off his dragon suit. "You two have tone it down. You're setting a bad example for Shoto. Now what you're going to do is help your brother with his needs as a lesson." Enji announces. I walk into the family room and lay him on the sofa. I sit next to him. "Do you want anything sweetie?" I ask. "Ice cream?" I nod. "Enji?" He walks in. "Shoto wants ice cream." "Dinner is almost soon." I plead with my eyes. Enji sighs. "Touya. Get your brother some ice cream." I kiss Shoto's bandaged forehead. "Let your brothers' know if you need anything okay?" He nods. I get up and walk upstairs. I start crying. "There you are." I hear a few minutes later. My back was turned. "Are you crying?" "No." I sniffle. I feel as Enji turn me around. "Oh baby. What's wrong?" "It's just my hormones." Enji wraps his arms around me. "I burned him!" I cry out. "It was an accident sweetheart. He's going to be okay." I cry into Enji's chest as he rub my back. "I'm such a bad mother." "No no you're not. Don't say that. You're an incredible mother and you're human. He's going to heal in no time." Enji pulls away and wipe my tears. I sniff and nod. "We'll take good care of him as he heals. Then he'll be back to normal before you know it." I nod in agreement. Enji bend down to kiss me. I kiss him back. He kiss my neck, grabbing my fabric and pulling me closer. I let out a moan. I pull away. "I'm not sexy. I look like a hippopotamus who is pregnant by a walrus." "Stop. You're as beautiful as before. You are creating a life inside of you. The female body is truly a work of art." Enji replies, kissing my body. "It's not. I'm in constant pain. I finally passed nausea. My body completely swelled up, my hormones mess with my mood, and my bladder is like an eighty year old woman." I complain. "Then let me show you. Let me appreciate your body." "I can't. Not while Jr's hurt. I'm not in the mood." Enji pulls away. "I respect that. But I mean it when I say you're still beautiful. Your body's the portal between life here and the afterlife. That's amazing. You're a beautiful creature. God chose the female species to help him bring angels down here. You are a goddess." I start crying again. "What's wrong?" "You made me feel special, beautiful and you're messing with my hormones!" Enji laughs and kiss my forehead. "You are." He wipe my tears and take my hand. We head downstairs. I sit back down next to Shoto who was asleep. "The ice cream put him to sleep." Fuyumi announced. "We're really sorry." Natsu apologized. "Do you think he hates us?" Touya asks. "What? No." "I think he's scared of us." "What makes you think that?" I ask. "He only wants Fuyumi." "You two need to be more delicate with him. Just because he's five, doesn't mean he can do everything you two can. Then again you two highly take after your father and Fu's gentleness comes from me. Right now this lesson will teach you how to nurture and care for someone. This is why you have to abide by our rules." They nod in agreement. "Understood." I stand and hug them. I kiss their cheeks and sit down. I cradle my stomach. The baby starts kicking. I smile.
