~~~~~~~~~~Natsuo's POV~~~~~~~~~~~~
Months have passed since my mother was hospitalized. She's still in a coma. We've all been losing sleep tremendously. Dad was a perfect match for mom in both blood and kidney. He gave up his kidney and donated his blood. When he was released from the hospital I kept my eye on his health. He recovered fast.
I kept track of my sister's health as well. Her weight dropped rapidly but I got her back on track with the help of Ren. Just as Rina promised, she filed a lawsuit against all of us. Today is the trial. Rina was on the stand in placement of her late daughter Rei.
"Can you explain your daughter's relationship with Mr. Todoroki?" She nods.
"Yes. They were madly in love. Really happy together. They talked about marriage and kids. I couldn't wait to be a grandmother. Those two were truly soulmates and moved as one. They were inseparable." Rina recalls.
"Bullshit!" Grandma Teka shouts.
"Quiet down Mrs. Todoroki." Judge Genesis says as she bangs her gavel.
"Continue." Rina nods again.
"I remember them coming over a lot. I always had my children come home for Sunday dinner. They couldn't keep their hands off each other. You would think they were high school sweethearts, that's how much in love they were." Rina continues.
"Did you see any changes in their relationship within those five years? Any changes in their behaviors?"
"No. They were truly head over heels all the way up to their wedding day. I was extremely surprised that he ran away from his own wedding and called it off with my daughter. They were perfect for each other."
"Did you see any signs of behavioral changes in your daughter from the moment she was left at the alter until her tragic death?"
"She was heartbroken. Sure everyone goes through that when they've been dumped. She told me she was in therapy and I watched how she progressed. My daughter even became friends with him."
"So you didn't see any signs of deranged erratic behavior from your daughter? No signs of obsession?"
"No."
"I would like to call Dr. Cavalier to the stand." I watch as the doctor get up and take the stand.
"Doctor, can you describe your patient's behavior?" My parent's lawyer Hirotoshi asks.
"Objection! My client's time spent with the therapist is confidential."
"I thought you might say that. Your client's daughter signed a document giving permission to release any info, evidence, documentations to the court if and when needed." Hirotoshi replies as she hands the paperwork over to Judge Genesis.
"Overruled. Continue Dr. Cavalier." He nods.
"Her mental health was in shambles. She never recovered from the breakup. There were times I documented she skipped sessions. There were times she was violent towards herself. She talked about suicide a lot. She admitted to wanting to kill him. Then said it was too easy. That the best way to make him suffer is kill off his family one by one starting with the mother of his children." The crowd gasps and murmurs. Judge Genesis bangs her gavel.
"Order in the court." The room quiet down.
"You may continue."
"I have multiple tape recordings of her confessing her motive on destroying the one man who she and I quite "killed her" it was very disturbing." Hirotoshi grabs the tape recorder and hands it over to the judge. She plays it.
