What happened was that Orsmund imposed a deceptive memory on that group of men. When they thought they cornered him, they were cornering themselves. The moment the lightning struck, the vampire urged them to come closer, compelling them. While they thought that they were beating him with extreme violence, they were all the time in the basement of the tavern immobile by a belief, necessarily false.
During their compulsion, Orsmund indulged in the desire to visit the woman who had once captivated him. There, again, covered in the night, he watched her from the roof of the house opposite. She had the company of another young woman who was braiding her hair. Aware of her simple movements, he sat up, stretched out his left leg and bent his right, putting both arms behind him for support.
Another lightning exploded, revealing his silhouette. She who kept her gaze in the mirror, turned to the outside when a glimpse crossed her field of vision.
"Noémia, have you seen ..." She said to the one who was combing her hair.
"What?" She asked without interest.
"I thought..." The roof was unoccupied. "It was nothing. It must be tired." She sat down.
With these uncertainties exposed, a noise was heard. Her intuition stirred with hope. She got up from the chair, ran to the window and looked down at the street. There he was the amazingly burly man who had once loomed over the porch. Noémia considered him a terrifying person.
"Why is he standing there looking at us? Stop! Don't come any closer! What are you going to do?"
"I want to talk to him." She thought that saw a smile on his male face when opened the porch door. "My name is Aurora!" She hoped he could hear her.
"No!"
"Shhh, Noémia! I don't want them to hear us."
"This is crazy! I will call..."
When Aurora stepped in front of Noémia to stop her, the sound of a crash and a slight draft sent them spinning. One did not hide the horror of seeing the man who was perched on that place and the other smiled radiantly.
"Look at me!" He transmitted a voice, lightly, low, and soft to Noémia. "My name is Orsmund!" He inclined his head to Aurora. "You are alike."
"We're distant cousins." Aurora took two steps, intoxicated by the sound emitted from those lips. "It was you, wasn't it?"
"What have I done?" He raised an eyebrow.
She laughed and walked over to lift a hand over her cousin's eyes. This one that did not move in Orsmund's presence.
"It's amazing!" She admired him. "The poor girl who showed up ... in fact, it is thought that the murderer..." She hinted. "Looks like they didn't make a mistake."
"I can make them change their minds!"
"I believe that!" She glanced at her cousin. "What if?"
"Do you want me to make you forget?"
"Oh. Please don't!" She lowered her head.
"And why not?"
"I'm trustworthy! I could have revealed it before!"
"And again, I could make them forget! You have no idea how difficult it can be for you to beat me!"
"But it's not impossible!" She dared.
Orsmund's interest in Aurora was evidently increasing.
"How can you not be afraid? How can you not be intimidated that I'm a threat to these people?"
"In a few months I am destined for one of the three most powerful men in Fragqua to breed. It will only be my role. In addition to providing them with pleasure. Nobody can or won't defend me! Oh, and defending myself is completely out of the question! So, I don't fall in love with any of those who live here."
"It's obvious they're holding you here!"
"Why did you rip her throat out?" She changed the subject. "They said you sold yourself to the devil!"
"Something similar." Laughed. "There are others like me. We fed on blood."
"Oh." She was surprised. "Are you going to attack me?" She thought aloud. "Of course not! Otherwise, you would have already done it! Or maybe... You can't get in, can you? That's why you're there!" She held up her hand, waiting for him to respond. "They protected the house with some spell."
"No." He interrupted. "I need an invitation from those who inhabit the property."
Aurora paced back and forth. Aware that the creature's gaze was following her. Finally, she stood before him. She pushed the long braid to the side and lifted her chin, exposing all the bare skin from neck to shoulder. She was testing him with provocation. Orsmund shuddered and showed his long fangs. Aurora was dazzled by the desire that raged in his eyes.
"Show me what you're capable of!" She begged.
The vampire produced a faint growl. He fought the supernatural barrier that separated them. His pupils dilated as he focused on Noémia. A hypnotic wave induced her towards the door.
"Let her through!" He warned Aurora before it stopped her. "She won't alert anyone!"
Aurora watched her leave the room, Orsmund had jumped down without a sound. Cautiously she approached the edge of the porch. The Viking watched the lust on her face. That reaction encouraged him. Without taking his eyes off his new admirer, he stretched out his left arm to welcome Noémia. There, in the middle of the public street, beyond the dim radiant light, the vampire freed her from her pale nightgown. He laid her down on her clothes and spread her thighs apart, immersed in the contraction movements of his witness's central organ. He ran his lips over the skin of his submissive, lingering over the most intimate areas. Aurora reveled in the intense erotic image. Her mind wandered. Her creativity guided her to Noémia's place. She imagined herself in that same position welcoming him, vehemently. Her trembling hands would separate him from the importunate garments that adorned him. She would lose herself, wildly, in the touch of those features along his firm chest. She would also absorb the consistency of the remaining members. When he fully took possession of her body, a bright flash ripped through the sky that clearly displayed the two lascivious figures. The young woman upstairs shivered. Orsmund guessed it was due to her own overwhelming electrical discharge. He sensed Noémia's response to his onslaught and chose to bring her to life. When she broke free from the trance, her body was already writhing, convulsively. Surprised to find a man above her and feel him, deeply, recklessly looked around trying to understand. Struggling against the pleasure still emanating from her, she thought about screaming. However, the strong masculine structure that dominated her sensed her intentions. Before she even opened her mouth, two sharp protrusions suffocated her. Aurora turned from the death that had taken place and dropped to the bed, absently, satisfied after the vampire waved goodbye.
