Chapter 12

Jin was feeling gloomy and heavy as he let himself drench under the waters of the shower. He knew that he just had an amazing sex and indescribable connection with Taehyung earlier. But again, it ended up unexpectedly on a negative note.

He was left by the Alpha in the room as he cleans up after himself. It was obvious for Jin that Taehyung was avoiding a conversation about what relationship between them could possibly arise after these sexual encounters they had with each other. And Jin was left perplexed as to why the Alpha was dodging him, when it was clear to Jin that they are destined mates.

Jin took the towel hanged in the corner of the small bathroom to dry himself, and put on the robe which was already there too.

Before he opened the door to step outside, he mumbled to himself, "What am I gonna wear?! My clothes are all torn, ugh!"

It's as if his question was already answered, when a man appeared before him as soon as he got out of the bathroom door.

"Hello, Seokjin-ssi! Here, please try putting this on inside the bathroom again. Sorry, there isn't a dressing room here as this is Tae's study. If the white shirt and the pants well fitted you, I'll help you with the coat here outside.

This is the biggest suit and pants I had. I knew you are taller than me so I hope it fits. If it doesn't, I will inform Tae. He doesn't want to borrow from the others as they are all Alphas. Their scents are already in their clothes, and that's the last thing Tae would want you to smell.

Also, this is a new underwear- as I had always kept extra ones for when there are emergency travels sometimes. I'll be back before you're done fitting this. I'll just get your friend and bring him here. Let me know if there's anything else you need when I get back."

"Uhm- thank you very much. You are?"

"Oh, where are my manners! I forgot to introduce myself as I have already seen you before, it's just that you were not fully conscious at the time." He smiled and bowed a bit, then extended his hand to Jin, "Hello, I am Hoseok. Please don't hesitate to call me if you need help with anything."

Jin shook hands with him and said, "Hello, Hoseok. Nice to meet you. It's nice to know that there's at least one who's hospitable at this place."

Hoseok smiled, "The people here are all great. You'll just need more time knowing them. Okay then, I'll be back when you're done dressing up."

By the time Jin was done putting on the clothes provided by Hoseok, Jimin was already there at the study waiting for him.

"Jin!! Omg! Oh my, I'm so glad you are okay! Are you really okay? Did he hurt you?!" Jimin said, running towards Jin to give him a hug.

"I believe Tae won't hurt Seokjin purposely." Hoseok butted in as he approached Jin to put on the coat on him.

"Wow. You look great in red, Jin! What happened to your clothes anywa--" Jimin quickly gasped realizing what might happened, "Ohhh, are you okay? Was he too rough? I mean--"

"Chim! I'm fine. Surprisingly, yeah I'm fine. And thank you very much, Hoseok, for lending me these." Jin said, then he turned to look at Jimin again, "I'll tell you everything once we get home, Chim."

"Okay. As long as you say you're okay."

"How about you? Are you okay too? What happened to you after you left the room with those two Alphas?" Jin asked.

"Oh, I'm okay. I just waited at a room while that shorter Alpha just sat at the corner quietly. He is a big bore! I can count with my fingers the words that he spoke."

Hoseok laughed softly, "Yoongi is really not talkative. He believes he always had to save his energy for much better circumstances."

"Oh okay. So that's his name. Still, he's so dull. By the way, Jin, he made me drink something. I hope it's not poison. Maybe it wasn't, right? Coz I'm still alive?!" Jimin said.

Hoseok quickly answered, "No. That's not poison, don't worry. It's a potion to keep your pheromones down. As soon as you two entered here, you both were already giving off strong scents. It's actually as if you're close to experiencing your heat.

You must know, this mansion is full of Alphas - I am the only Omega who lives here. Therefore, that potion is needed for you not to drive in Alphas to you. Yoongi is just strong-minded that he was able to resist your scent even if he stays alone with you inside a room."

Jin and Jimin looked at each other after hearing what Hoseok has shared, Jimin said, "Ahh. I see. Well, I wouldn't be surprised. That Alpha didn't seem to have any feelings nor any senses, you know. Are you sure he's an Alpha?!"

"Yes, he is. The third strongest in our pack, actually. He might not seem like it, but he's really strong, not much physically, but mentally he is capable of anything. He's considered a sigma male, as he's really an introvert one. But his strength is of an Alpha. You'll find him interesting once you get to know him." Hoseok smiled, as he handed Jin a clean pair of socks.

"You know who's interesting? His brother!" Jimin whispered in excitement.

"Excuse me, who?!" Hoseok asked with wide eyes.

"His brother, the tallest one. I think they're brothers, right?! I find him really hot."

Jin chuckled as he listens and puts on his shoes.

Hoseok chuckled softly too, "Are you referring to Namjoon? Well, I agree with you. He is definitely hot. He might seem like a tough, aggressive Alpha. But he really is caring and thoughtful."

"Really? Oh wow, my ideal man! Tell me more please! How are you aware of all of these, anyways?"

Hoseok smiled, "Coz he is my Alpha. I'm his husband for more than five years now."

Jimin covered his mouth with his hands, embarrassed by what he just said about Namjoon in front of Hoseok. While Jin pressed his lips to suppress his laughter, as he looked at the two.

"Oh goodness!! I am so sorry!! I didn't even think that he might be mated already. I'm really sorry.." Jimin exclaimed, while he repeatedly bowed in front of Hoseok.

"That's okay." Hoseok chuckled. "I am used to a lot of men and women swooning over my Namjoon. I consider myself very lucky when he bonded with me, and when he promised not to have any other Omega.

That's why I am the only Omega in this mansion. Namjoon is the younger brother of Yoongi, who is not mated yet. Same with Tae, he is their cousin. And he is the leader of our pack."

"Your pack?!" Jin stood up and walked quickly to Taehyung's desk where he can see a name plate, "Kim Taehyung.. Moon Night Howlers?! This pack is really the Moon Night Howlers??!"

"Oh my gosh!!" Jimin exclaimed and ran to Jin, to clearly see what was written on the name plate. "Shit!! Jin! Your Alpha is the leader of the Moon Night Howlers??"

Jin's eyes widened and his mouth went agape. He then turned to look at Hoseok, "Is this why he didn't want to bond with me?? Coz he's the pack's leader and I am just a worthless being, unworthy of being the leader's partner, and I'm not even part of your clan?!"

Hoseok walked to them with a small smile, "That is something only Tae can answer, Seokjin, I'm sorry. But one thing I'm sure of is-- he cares for you more than he ever cared for anyone in his life."
