Chapter 34

As soon as Jin and Taehyung walked into the mansion's main dining area, they were greeted by everyone in there. All of the members of the family are already seated around the table, waiting for them.

"Jin!! You're finally here." Jimin said.

"Yeah. We have been waiting for you, Tae, before we can ask for the food to be served." Yoongi said.

"But we have let the kids eat ahead of us. Seriously, what took you so long?! My pups were hungry!" Namjoon hissed.

"We're so sorry for being late." Jin bit his bottom lip, embarrassed - he bowed slightly then he glared at Taehyung lowkey.

Taehyung chuckled softly, then he embraced Jin's waist as he pushed him to walk to his seat, "That's okay, my love. Don't apologize. C'mon you guys, no need to be salty! We just had to finish something important. Are my nephews enjoying the food?!" He smiled at the kids.

"Yeah, Uncle Tae!!" The twins answered, while chewing with their mouths full. Hoseok smiled as he wiped their faces with napkins.

"No worries. Take your seats now." Seojoon said.

Taehyung then approached Seojoon and bowed slightly, he muttered, "Good evening, Father.."

Seojoon nodded a bit, then Taehyung went to his seat after pulling the chair out for Jin.

Yoongi and Namjoon looked at each other with surprised, at the same time, perplexed reactions.

Then Namjoon said, "Wow, Tae.. What has your rut with Seokjin done to you?!"

"Whatever it is, it's great." Yoongi said softly, with a smirk on his face.

"Shut up, will you?!"

"Uncle Tae, that's not a polite thing to say!" Dogeon said.

"Yeah! Appa said we should say 'Be quiet' instead of 'Shut up'. Right, appa?!" Hosu added.

Namjoon and Hoseok chuckled at the look of Taehyung's face, as he was caught off guard by what the kids said.

"Oh-- sorry, little pups! Uncle Tae was not right. Maybe your grandpa Seojoon raised me wrong." Taehyung grinned wide.

"W-what?! Don't drag me into this!" Seojoon said in annoyance, which made everyone around the table laugh.

It was a light and fun dinner for the first time in the mansion - no tensions, no more nasty attitudes towards each other. And this atmosphere was making Seojoon happy inside.

After Hoseok had fed their children, he asked Beomgyu to take them upstairs to clean up and get ready for bed. All of the adults were left to discuss more important matters as they continued to talk over dinner.

Yoongi started to say, "Everyone, can we just officially welcome to our family- Jimin, my wonderful mate.." He took Jimin's hand and smiled at him, "and Seokjin, Taehyung's fated Luna.."

Namjoon raised his glass of wine, then the rest followed, he took his turn to speak, "Cheers to the best Alphas of Moon Night Howlers and the strongest of all packs - finally being bonded to such magnificent men!!"

'Cheers!!'

Jin turned to glance at Taehyung, he smiled at his Alpha who reached for his hand to kiss it.

"Please let me just say," Seojoon spoke louder, "I have been waiting all my life for this day to come. And though it is already here, let me warn you, my dear sons, that this isn't your happy endings yet..

It is only the start of your journey as Alpha leaders of our clan, and as the main men of your own families to raise. I trust that you'll be responsible in protecting your mates, as well as look after our pack's best interest."
