Jin leaned back to stare at Taehyung's face. Then he said softly, in tears,
"Yes, of course you a-are. You're my first and I have been m-marked by you. As much as possible, I want to be with the Alpha who first had me. It's what I've been dreaming of since I was younger - to meet the one who marked me and be his Omega.

But p-please let me understand, what's wrong with being with me? Was it true w-when you said that it was a mistake marking me? Did you really m-mean it?! P-please be honest this time, Taehyung-ssi."

Taehyung kept his gaze on Jin's eyes, now on its normal color. It amazed Taehyung to see Jin's red eyes for the first time. And the reason for it was something that Taehyung liked too at the back of his head.

The Alpha then caressed Jin's cheek with his thumb. He breathed in deeply, finally he decided to be completely honest, which was making him nervous,

"Forgive me for hurting you several times just to push you away, Seokjin. It was a mistake marking you-- only because I don't want to drag you anymore into my complicated, dangerous life.

I've done my best to keep you away, while keeping you as only mine. I wanted you to live your life the way you want it to, while I just watch you from afar. But now, no matter what I do, everything just leads you to me. Everything just tells me that I need you by my side.

Please believe me when I say-- being the one to mark you when we were still younger is one of the best things that happened to me. I grew up and lived my life revolving only around the thought that I am your Alpha.

But I was a coward one. Instead of accepting the responsibility of keeping you by my side and protecting you, I drove you away. Because I thought it's what's best for you."

Taehyung stopped talking for a while as he pressed his forehead against Jin's. He closed his eyes which made his tears flow down his cheeks slowly.

Jin wiped them away, then he closed his eyes too, as he spoke against Taehyung's face.

"Taehyung-ssi, I don't understand clearly everything you said. I know it may take a while for me to learn everything, but I am willing to stay by your side while knowing more of you.

If you are my fated Alpha, then I am ready to accept anything. What are you afraid of if we get bonded? Can you at least let me know?"

Jin leaned back and opened his eyes to search answers from Taehyung's own teary eyes.

Taehyung licked his lips as he sighed deep, "Your life might be in danger. You might die carrying an offspring for me. You might not live a peaceful life by my side. And I might not be able to protect you from all harm, because I am a weaker Alpha leader.

All these.. all of these reasons that I don't know if I can promise you a happy life with me, Seokjin."

"Taehyung-ssi.. did you hear everything you said just now? All of it included the word might. Therefore, you are not sure of these.

You know what - I am someone who believes the what if's more, than the might's.

What if I won't be in danger coz I am just right beside you? What if I don't die when I give birth for our child? Look at your door outside - you see how strong I've become? Even I was really surprised. And what if.. just what if we can live a peaceful and happy life-- because we're finally together?!
