Chapter 45

Yoongi was sitting on the sofa of a large suite, with Jimin applying ointment to the scratches and bruises on his face and arms. The room was silent as Jin only watched them from across the room. He was still in a state of shock, processing everything that he has just discovered.

Apart from Taehyung- who now can shapeshift like his father, Jin just also came from a sudden attack which almost took his and Sangyeob's lives. Also, he became incredibly strong when he was able to stop the wolf from causing further damage to Jungkook. And if these happenings weren't enough to give him a shock - he also just had learned that he is a Goldentail, even better - a half brother of the pack's leader.

Now, Jin feels that his whole life was a lie.

All that he has lived for became nothing - that as if everything just went to waste because he truly did not know a thing about himself.

It started when he discovered that his Alpha has been looking after him and protecting him his whole life. And now, to discover that he's actually a Goldentail seemed to have changed all that he believed in.

He couldn't help but tear up again, which gained the attention of his best friend, "Jin?! Hey-- are you crying again?!" Jimin asked. He then walked to Jin and embraced him tight.

"I- I'm sorry. I'm just-- I can't believe all of these. I don't even know where to start."

"I know it's difficult to take everything in, so please just take it easy, Jin. You are pregnant, it'll become more risky if you think too much."

"Chim is right, Jin. Things will be sorted soon, let's wait at how their conversation will turn out." Yoongi said calmly.

"Y-yes, I'm anxious about it too. I hope it turns out well." Jin said.

The two head Alphas are currently in the other room, with Seojoon and Eun-woo, trying to talk things out calmly. Taehyung was still eager to know who's behind the attempted murder of his Luna. Therefore, they decided to talk about it in private, without involving the others.

"It will be fine, Jin. Uncle is with them, he's a great and experienced Alpha - he would know what to do at this point." Yoongi said.

"O-okay. Thank you guys. Chim, you should go and attend to your Alpha's wounds. I'll be fine." Jin said.

Jimin then sighed, turning back to Yoongi, obviously worried, "You have too many wounds, babe. Can't you just let Tae heal you? He can do that now, right?!" He asked as he walked back to his Alpha.

"Fuck- no! In order to do that, he would need to lick my wounds!! That would be so gross!!" Yoongi exclaimed, which made Jimin and Jin chuckle.

Almost an hour passed, and Taehyung came rushing into the suite, looking for Jin.

"Tae--"

"My love--" Taehyung walked to Jin and pulled him in for a tight embrace. "I'm so sorry. Forgive me if I lost myself back there. I felt so different at that time, that I didn't know how to control myself anymore. I know how much you hated me killing people from our enemy pack-- I should have tried harder to remember that. But thinking that Jeon Jungkook just tried to have you killed, I lost every strand of rationality inside my head."

Jin took a deep breath to take in the scent of his Alpha - then he became more relieved. He pulled back from their embrace and stared at Taehyung's eyes. "I forgive you. I'm just thankful that you weren't hurt and nothing tragic happened. Though a lot were wounded and injured, nobody lost a life. How are you feeling? And how is Jungkook?"
