You have been out of the hospital for several days and you still haven't gone to get Sabo. Not because you didn't want to...but because Shanks had asked you to wait as he chases down lead he has on Kid. You have been trying to keep to your normal routine, but quickly realized that being in a coma for two months, things can change very quickly.
Luffy had been doing worse in school while you were gone, but his grades have dramatically improved since you've come home. You got a call from his teacher yesterday after he came home from school, she told you she was happy you were better and explained that Luffy is actually doing his work now. You scolded him for slacking off but then you bought pizza for dinner.
Ace had almost gotten expelled while you were gone. Apparently his temper worsened and he just plainly refused to do his work. But now that you've been back he has had less temper flares and has turned in all his work. You found this out thanks to Kaku, because Ace's teachers still feared you. You baked him cookies for this, though Luffy stole quite a few.
Things have been relaxing for the most part. But you still find yourself spacing out, thinking about the child that's still missing. You wonder how he's doing and if he's okay...
They had pulled Sabo out of school when they got him, so he hasn't seen his brothers at all in the past two months. And according to some friends you had, he also doesn't leave the rich part of town at all, they probably won't let him. You did sneak into that part of town and found him trying to hide from some people who were following him.
He had went and his above one of the shops that was being renovated, the space up there was empty and unused. You had been meeting up with him there, just to talk about things and see how he was doing. He was happy to see you were awake, and you promised him you'd go get him soon. He looked a bit upset, worried that you'll just get hurt, but you just give him a grin and wave it off, it'll be okay!
Finally, it was Thursday, the two boys were at school when you got a call from Shanks.
"(Name)." He says as soon as you pick up, his tone was serious. You felt your stomach tighten as he begins to explain what just happened.

Two hours ago
He doesn't know what made Kid relax, and to be honest at this moment he didn't care. The beatings have stopped and Law finally had time to think.
The past two months have been a blur, and a painful one at that.
Very faintly does he remember anything that Kid has said over the past two months, all he does remember his hearing your name a lot, and being blamed for everything. He leans his head back onto the cold concrete floor, letting the coolness sooth his aching muscles.
He was aware of the time that has passed only because of the constant updates Kid got from Killer. But a few days ago Kid had stopped coming back down to where Law was, he wasn't sure why, something may have happened. It couldn't have been bad thought, since Law would probably have been killed if it was something that made Kid mad.
