You woke up the next morning slightly groggy and immediately you knew you over slept a bit.

You looked to your right and noticed the bed was empty, a frown on your lips you let your mind wake up a bit before you sit up. When you stretch a bit and let out a loud yawn you gasp when you see the clock.

You woke up really late, odd you weren't tired when you fell asleep...

You bolted out the room and quickly noticed the boys were gone. You were a bit confused as you climbed down the steps, the smell of bacon hit you as you walked into the kitchen. Law was standing there struggling with cooking, but it looks like he was starting to get the hang of it. He notices you and smirks a bit.

"I heard you stomping around up there..." He says and you glare at him.

"Where are the boys?" You ask and he raises a brow.

"School, you were so deeply asleep you were practically dead to the world, not even Luffy jumping onto you woke you up... So I got them ready and took them to their bus stop." He says while turning back to the food and scooping it out of the pan and onto a plate.

"Good timing the food's done (Name)-ya..." He says as he tosses the spatula into the sink and gives you a satisfied grin. You look at the food he's created and hum in admiration.

"Wow...Nice job!" You give him a grin before grabbing a piece of bacon as you set up the table. He sits down at the table as you place down the plate of eggs.

"So Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, and toast..." You hummed as you made your plate. He watches you eat for a minute, probably expecting you to say something.

"Thanks for the food, it's pretty good." You said with a smile, you could have sworn you saw him smile before he starts to eat as well. You both were silent for a few minutes while eating.

"So what are you doing today?" He breaks the silence first, glancing up from his plate while he spoke.

"Get their dog." You hummed to yourself, tapping your fork on your lips.

"I still think you should get a polar bear..." He mutters and you giggle a bit.

"I'll Google where to buy one later.~" You hummed and again you think you see him smile.

"So what kind of dog?" He asks and you hum.

"I dunno...all three maybe?" You lean back and stare at the ceiling, lost in your thoughts.

"A single mother with three kids, three dogs, a tiger, a polar bear, and an man sleeping on her bed..." He says while you just frown at him.

"Why did you sleep in my room last night?" You ask him in a quiet voice. He stops eating for a moment and looks at you.

"I went in there out of habit...by the time you walked in I just rolled with it." He admits quietly.

"Was it weird...me being in there?" He asks and you think for a moment.

"No..." You admit in a soft voice, you see his lips curl up a bit and you smile slightly.

"This is so awkward by the way..." You said with a tense laugh. He chuckles and leans back a bit.

"A bit..." He mutters and once again the room falls silent.

"This feels so normal...why did we break it off?" You ask quietly and he stares at you for a moment, thinking.

"We didn't...we just...stopped talking because I was always working...neither one of us really said we were through...until you said something about a year ago..." He says, his voice was a bit quiet.

"I figured you didn't want me around..." You whispered, staring at your half empty plate. You hear him get up and less than a minute later an arm wrapped around your shoulder.

"I never said that..." His breath tickles the back of your neck and your face turns a bit red, but you lean into him anyways.

"You never took days off..." You said and he sighs.

"I was saving them for vacations..." He says while squeezing you a little tighter.

"I don't remember you being this hugging kind of person..." You said, trying not to let your voice crack from how nervous you felt at that moment. You hear him chuckle, making shivers travel down your spine.

"I don't remember you being so dense..." He teases and you turn your head a bit, about to argue when his lips meet yours.

It was a short kiss, but it was enough to make you melt.

"So..." He says with a smirk, pleased to see he still has that effect on you. Your eyes were a bit dazed and it took you a minute to realize he spoke.

"So..?" You echoed and his smirk widens.

He was about to say something when someone behind you both coughs, turning around both you and Law see Robin standing there with a brow raised.

"Am I interrupting something? I thought we were picking out dogs?" She asks with a sly smile on her lips. Your face flushes and you stand up quickly.

"Ri-Right dogs...yeah..!" You said, remembering what you had planned today, you forgot you had messaged Robin about it after everyone had fallen asleep, it still being early you weren't all that tired so you spent a good portion chatting in the chat room.

"When did you two get back together?" She asks, still smiling as you and Law get ready to leave.

"Just as you walked in." Law answers before you do and you felt your heart skip a beat. You couldn't help but smile as you got ready, the two watched you as you nearly skip around finding everything.

"Obviously she's happy about this...but will the other three be?" Robin hums and you freeze mid skip, almost tumbling over.

Ah hell you forgot about them for a moment, being with Law made you feel like it was two years ago, before you had gotten the boys...

You laugh nervously while looking at Law, who seems to have a smug smirk on his face.

"Shush you..." You muttered before Law could say anything.
