Law honestly didn't seem phased by the appearance of this man but at the same time he absently wondered how well he could fight with one arm.
Well guess he'll know soon.
But Law pauses his train of thoughts for a moment, looking at the man.
"Who are you..?" Law asks coolly, this seems to make the man flush in anger.
"I-I! Yo-You forgot me- You fucking—!!" The man sputters but Law turns his attention away from the man and motions for the boys to follow him.
"Let's go...you guys had more places you wanted to go to right?" He asks and all three grin and jump off their seats and run ahead of Law.
Law stumbles back when something hits him in the jaw. He catches himself using the table beside him and he glares up at the man.
"Room." Law mutters, the blue film covers the room in half a second and the man stumbles back surprised.
"Your— Your not as strong as you use to be...! You only have one arm!" The man says nervously, Law smirks a bit.
"Why don't you find out?" He asks and the man pales a bit and backs off.
"Yo-You'll regret this!" He says running off. Law, if he was at his best, probably would have injured the man in some way, but he still isn't sure how to fight with his arm gone quite yet.
"Law?" Luffy calls out to the man, snapping him out of his chain of thoughts. Law looks down at the rubber boy with a neutral expression.
"What?" He asks when Luffy doesn't continue immediately.
"Who was that?" He asks and Law thinks for a moment, the man did seem familiar but he couldn't quite place where...
"I don't know...let's just go...where did you want to go to next?" Law asks the boys and instantly Luffy starts jumping around while talking a mile a minute. As they walked to the next set of rides in the same general area they were in before Law thought about that man, he seemed familiar...
Oh.
He was a lackey, a higher up lackey, but still a lackey.
He thinks for a moment and cringes, that's right...this park...it's owned by Doflamingo...
"Ah..." Law sighs suddenly, and all the boys tun to him confused.
"What?" Sabo asks and Law shakes his head.
"I just realized who that was..." He sighs.
"Who?" Luffy asks and Ace gives him am 'Are you stupid?' look before turning back to Law.
"That man earlier? Who is he?" He asks and Law shrugs.
"Don't remember his name...he just works for Doflamingo." Law answers smoothly and Luffy cringes a bit. That's the guy who was trying to kill them...
"Why was he here?" Ace asks and Law gives the three of them a neutral expression.
"Doflamingo owns this amusement park." He answers them honestly, in an almost bored tone.
All three boys freeze and Luffy starts to tear up a bit.
"I wanna go home..!" He says suddenly and Law frowns, you'd get up set at Law if he took them home now...
"Come on come over here..." He says, leading the boys to a somewhat quieter area and pulls out his phone and calls you. When he hears you pick up the first thing he hear is your video game in the background and he fights the urge to roll his eyes.
"Hey Law...!" You said absently as you focused on the screen.
"Luffy wants to come home." Law says and you pause the game.
"What..!? Why..!?" You said, your attention now on Law. Law explains what just happened and about Doflamingo and you sigh.
"Give the phone to the boys and put me on speaker." You said and Law hands the phone to Luffy after he hits the speakerphone button.
"Luffy?" You call out to him and instantly he smiles.
"(Name)!" All three call out happily and Law almost smiles at them, they looked so happy the moment they heard you.
"Guys what's going on?" You ask, holding back a laugh at them calling you.
"I wanna go home..!" Luffy says sadly and you sigh.
"Why? Your in a park full of games, rides, toys, and food! Hell I wanna be there!" You said dramatically and Law holds back a chuckle.
"I wish you were here..." Luffy says and you can't help but smile.
"Oh come on...it hasn't even been a day, you can't miss me already..!" You teased and you knew immediately that this could make Ace mad.
"We don't!" You heard Ace yell suddenly and you smirk.
"But.." Luffy starts to disagree and you hear some movement and suddenly Ace's voice was a lot closer, he must have taken the phone.
"Lu-Luffy's just crying because he's a baby..!" He starts and Luffy whines a bit in the background.
"We don't want to go home yet so..!" He continues and you pull the phone away to laugh a bit. Once you were done you put the phone back to your ear only to hear Ace ramble on a bit more before the phone gets taken from him.
"We'll be fine!" You heard Sabo now and you grinned as Luffy whines some more and Ace starts yelling at Sabo.
"Go ride some rides! Have fun! Make Law's wallet become barren! Go my sweet little devils!" You said dramatically and you could hear them laugh a bit, Law probably looked pissed about the whole wallet thing but oh well! You wouldn't be punished until next week anyways!
"Love you!" You said to them and all three answered back.
"Love you too!" They said in their own way, Ace sounded a bit stubborn when he said it, meaning both his brothers probably glared at him till he said it.
"See you guys Sunday!~" You said, hanging up.
You think for a moment and wonder absently if they'll really be okay? Ah well...Law's with them your sure they'll be fine!
