"F/N-chan?" A kind voice called out, soft and sweet in nature. It seemed to belong to a girl but F/N's vision hadn't adjusted to her surroundings yet, everything appeared washed out and hazy in her eyes. "F/N-chan, are you alright?" The voice seeming more desperate for an answer now.
People started to appear in her vision: the girl sitting next to her for a start, she'd never seen her before. Puffy hair and an elegant aura were how she would be best described; Beside her was a blonde-haired girl with a very modern fashion sense, perhaps she was a model? Just how was F/N in the same room as these people?
"Dude, did we just make F/N crash!?" an eccentric voice cried out from opposite her, only now realising she was sitting in a booth with everyone she has seen so far. This girl had bright orange hair that was so obviously dyed, but it didn't look unnatural on said girl. F/N also noted how she was squatting on the seat rather than sitting, only adding to her eccentricity. "That was a total info overload! Ryuji you jerk!"
"What did I do!?" a loud boy exclaimed; he was seated on one of the bar stools close to the booth. He looked just like the 'Sakamoto' her and Akechi encountered on their way to the jazz club, his voice only affirming that notion more. "Don't blame crap on me all the time damnit! We all had a part in telling F/N this!"
"We're sorry we didn't tell you sooner F/N, but we couldn't think of a good time to tell you this as a group." Ah, Makoto was here too, that's one name and face she knew for sure in this group at least. "We really are sorry you had to find out about him this way."
Him?
Looking around the room more as her eyes finally adjusted to the room's light (still slightly distorted however much to her chagrin), she noted that other people were present: she could see Kitagawa was in the room too, who had yet to speak as well as a black cat perched upon the booth's table, 'a little bit strange' she noted. Something, however, felt off, like something or someone was missing.
The rustique décor, the lack of customers and the lingering smell of coffee and curry suddenly snapped together in her mind, she was in Café LeBlanc.
Someone was missing from this place though, someone very important. Without them, the place felt foreign. Someone behind the counter-
Akira.
Of course, it seemed empty without him, he was so ingrained into the feel of the café that everything felt wrong without him there...
But why wasn't he here, and the people around her were being so cryptic about who they were talking about too. Who was this 'him' they were referring to?
"Why!?" Before she could linger anymore on it, words spilt out of her mouth that she hadn't even thought of, it was as if she was watching her own life in the passenger seat, unable to control her words or actions. "Why would he betray us- betray me like this! This isn't him; this isn't who he is- he would never-."
"F/N-chan... I know this is especially hard for you, you were close to him after all..." Makoto laughed sheepishly, not finding her words funny at all in relation to what they were currently talking about. "But you have to understand, that recording was real." Her face was solemn now, eyes downcast onto the floor below rather than burning into F/N's now.
"Even I couldn't believe it when I heard what he said." The orange haired girl interjected, still squatting on the chair and her hand adjusting her glasses slightly. "And I'm the one who put the bug on his phone!" Her shock merged with pride at the statement. How could such a small and unassuming girl be capable of making such things?
F/N could feel herself curling into a ball. Why were these words affecting her in such a way? This man these people were talking about was obviously important to her but without knowing for sure, she didn't want to think of who they could possibly be talking about...
