Akechi ushered F/N through the door before him, attempting to be the gentleman once more, he even offered to take her coat to hang up on the coat hanger, which was already adorned with a cute looking pastel pink woman's coat. He then fetched a spare pair of woman's slippers for F/N to change into, though this wasn't without a moment of pause.
How strange, he couldn't recall ever buying woman's slippers...
Well.
That was until a 'wave' hit him, then he remembered.
'They must be hers'
"I'm back," Akechi chimed cheerfully, though his expression betrayed his tune. His eyes were wide and almost seemed to be glossed over with newly forming tears. As if noticing what his body was doing, Akechi clenched his eyes shut, swatting away any droplets that may have been forming around his eyes.
F/N hadn't noticed Akechi's odd behaviour at the time, as she was to preoccupied in undoing the boots that were currently refusing to unzip. After a few moments of struggle, eventually a gentle hand came down to help her in her current predicament.
"Did the zip get stuck?" Akechi chuckled, as F/N's hand took charge of the situation. "Allow me." F/N looked away in embarrassment over the fact that she couldn't even do something as simple as taking off her own boots. Life really didn't want to go her way today.
"Oh~ Is someone with you Goro-chan?" The woman's voice questioned cheerfully, the sound of pans crashing onto a counter accompanying her chimes.
Akechi seemed to be slightly taken aback, whispering something lightly under his breath, though F/N could only make out "..ther" from his words. He could almost feel those tears creeping back up on him, before he shook his head and snapped his attention back to those damned boot zips.
It was then that F/N noted the enticing smell that had been meandering it's way throughout the apartment. The familiar smell of katsu curry, one of her favourite dishes as of recent. A pleasurable fell from her mouth subconsciously, before she snapped back to reality where Akechi stood, her boots neatly tucked to the side from their previous position trapped around her legs.
"Yes," Goro started, before offering his hand -ever the gentleman- to his girlfriend who was still sat on the floor. "F/N's going to be staying for a while," he smiled, as he helped said person up from her frozen position on the floor.
"Oh! Is that the same F/N-chan you never shut up about?" The woman giggled, as the sound of pans being placed on a counter reverberated throughout the fairly large apartment. Footsteps then approached them as the woman came to see the young couple standing by the entrance. "Oh how sweet," she commented as she came into view of the couple, who were still holding hands, despite the fact F/N had snapped back to reality seconds earlier.
The woman then giggled again at the face Akechi was making.
Turning back to the woman, F/N noted the striking resemblance she bore to the man standing beside her. Her hair, though far longer than Akechi's, was the exact same chestnut brown, her eyes the same rusted red. Though, she was considerably shorter than Akechi, If the shoe rack standing to the side of them was anything to go by either, it wasn't something she was happy about.
"M-Mother, please!" Akechi exclaimed, his face noticeably redder at his Mother's playfulness. Though he didn't let go of F/N's hand, in fact, he clenched it just a little tighter than before.
F/N wasn't taken aback by her boyfriend's actions though. It was the woman he called 'Mother' that threw her off.
"Wow! I thought she was your sister, Goro!" F/N nonchalantly exclaimed, ignoring the burning look her boyfriend was now giving her, though his mother merely chuckled at F/N's outburst.
