"Ahh! We got too close! Are we suspects now!? Hey, where are you going?!" Paimon cried out.

"Lumine?" I said.

"It was a god we faced off when we first arrived in this world too." She simply stated.

We cautiously got far away from the scene and the milelith. Just when we thought we were safe, I stepped on a stick, and it made a loud crack.

"Hey, stop right there!" Mileliths charged at us. We drew our blades to fight, but at that moment, an unknown guy helped us to escape the milelith.

"Stand back girlie~"

"I wonder if that was to me or Lumine..." I thought.
.

.

"Man, Paimon's tired!"

"Just what muscles does floating use?" I asked sarcastically.
"Hey, how insensitive can you be y/n!" Lumine chuckled.

"Anyways, who are you?" Lumine said, putting all the attention on the mysterious figure.

"Call me Childe," he said.

"So we're meant to dote on you?" I asked

"What, no, no, no. It's an alias of sorts, haha." Childe replied. "I suppose you met a "Signora","

Lumine and Paimon nodded. I didn't.

"Signora" Lumine muttered.

"Childe" y/n muttered.

Then it clicked.

"You're Fatui! You're part of the Harbingers!" Paimon asserted.

"Don't worry, I'm not looking for a fight." He looked at me, his eyes looked dull.

"Signora gave you a bad impression, huh? Can't say I'm a fan either. Anyways I'm here to help you."

"Wait! What!?" We said in unison.

"Yes. Help." He said calmly.

"I've heard of your kind deeds in Mondstadt, so I couldn't help but notice you." His gaze laid upon my figure once more. I swear I saw his eyes brighten. "And because I had my eyes on you the whole time, I was sure it couldn't be you, traveller." I looked at Lumine she had an unsure look on her face. Childe seemed to notice.

"I'm sure you are still suspicious of me, well even the Liyue Qixing are overly suspicious of us, especially with the disastrous rite of desencion. It isn't safe here. Let's meet at Northland Bank, I'll clear your suspicions there, as the old Liyue saying goes: "The walls have ears."

There he gave us an adepti sigil.

"The Qixing will already have dispatched the Milelith."

"They must be looking for the assassin among us." I dished out.

"It's impossible for a mere mortal to kill a god that can sweep aside multiple armies. Rex Lapis never gave up his power as a god."

"Doesn't mean he won't." You thought.

"If there is anyone that can help you, it can only be the mighty and illuminated adepti."
